Fantastic trekking poles. Used them on a steep rocky descent and they performed flawlessly. They were like holding air--They were so light. They were also very sturdy. Easy to deploy (just pull and lock---a small metal button pops out to lock it). Easy to fold back up. Note for folding back up: The metal locking button has a small ridge in it, so you need to gently pull the pole (much like when deploying), so that the ridge on the small metal button clears the pole for folding, then it can be pushed easily. If you are finding it difficult to push the button--That is why. It catches purposely on that ridge, and you need to expose the whole button---so that it can be pushed back into the pole. 100% glad that I chose these poles. Light weight, sturdy, well made, straps are comfortable, easy to deploy, fold, adjust, and carry. Definitely worthy of 5 stars

I feel like I needed to use poles more hiking, so I bought these, because I did not like my very old ones.This is my first set of Z style poles, which I think work fairly well. They’re compact and easy to set up at 6 foot tall, adjusting well enough for me going up and down. But in general, I don’t think I’m much much of a hiking pole user, as I find myself just holding or carrying them. On The descent I still find them useful. I like the cork, the latches hold , and it came with a ton of attachments which I don’t use much.I’ve taken these up Kilimanjaro, serval 14ers, and other hikes. So, I can attest to their durability. They are about a third of the price of black diamond carbon Z style poles.If you don’t want the Z style, you can get a two (pr) pack of carbon poles made by Cascade mountain from Costco for about the same price.

The media could not be loaded. Bought the carbon, collapsible poles on Amazon & used them for a multi-day hiking trek along the Pacific Crest Trail. These out-performed my spouse’s $220 name-brand poles by a landslide.Pros:-Lightweight.-Fold & unfold easily.-Easy to store. (Would even fit in a small daypack or with a running hydration vest!)-Sturdy for hiking stability going uphill, downhill, crossing streams, etc.)-Cork handles felt dry and comfortable. (Vs. the gummy, gunky black rubber handles on many poles that lead to blisters if your hands sweat.)-Quality for the price. (Was a great buy!)Cons: none so far! Considering buying these poles for all of my hiking family members!

When I read the positive reviews, all I can think is that they got a different product. The locking mechanism simply was not present. The instructions and the video referred to a button that was not there. Without that lock, the poles collapse into their three pieces; no way for it to hold together. But wait, there's more! The locking mechanism for adjusting height is flimsy; there is no way one could depend on it to hold under any weight at all. Finally one pole simply fell apart--the anchor that was supposed to hold the internal cord in place was apparently not attached. I can't believe how bad these poles are

Great, compact, well made,

These are so great for hikers of any level. If you're experienced these are great for your long and hard trips and great in all weather conditions. Can change the tip to fit the ground you're covering. If you're newer to hiking this will be great support while you gain your experience and over come hard terain.

I was looking for carbon shaft, cork handle, and foldable to 15 inches or less. These poles are all three and I love them. I do have a comment. I am 5'5" tall and I ordered the longer length. They were just a little too long when at the shortest adjustment. I returned them for the shorter length and they are perfect. They are light weight and comfortable yet strong. I am very happy with them.

Great quality at a great price. Love the natural cork hand grips. This is the second pair of folding poles that I have bought through Amazon. The first poles don't seem to be available anymore but this pair of poles are almost identical to poles that I bought maybe 4 years ago. Makes me wonder if all these poles are made by the same factory and are just marketed with different brand names. Only problem with these poles is the wire reinforced cord that holds the poles together does not stretch much, so my wife struggles to lock the poles in place. Our older set of poles locks in place easier, but I'm not sure if that is because the cord is stretched with use or if the newer poles have a stronger wire in the cord and have less stretch. Does not matter for us because I can lock both poles in place, but this might be important if the buyer is a smaller, older woman. Other than this issue, the poles are wonderful.

No creo que existan palos mejores que estos. Son muy ligeros y resistentes dados que son mezcla de aluminio y carbono de muy buena calidad. Les he dado bastante uso y muy cañero y están como el primer día. Se montan y se pliegan muy fácilmente y se separan a diferentes alturas dado que además son extensibles. Viene con varios juegos de cabeza para todo los tipos de terrenos. Sin duda si algún día pierdo uno o se me deterioran por el uso los volveré a comprarHe de decir que el vendedor es excepcional. Perdí unos de los acoples para nieve en un ruta de senderismo y le escribí para comprarle uno y me mandó los 2 acoples y gratis con el envío gratis también. Eso dice mucho de un vendedor además de la calidad tan buena de sus palos de senderismo
