This is tacky on my skin. The feel doesn’t go away and it also feels greasy. In combination with another product I was using, it was worse and I didn't realize until I ran out of my other serum that it was the combination of the two. It's less sticky and greasy now.It seems like it works, my face looks firmer, more youthful and, refreshed. My skin tone looks more even and smooth. It leaves a nice glow and my skin is hydrated. I use this in combination with vitamin C, essence, moisturizer, eye cream, and SPF.The scent is ok but I've gotten used to it and it's a great product.

One of the first things I do, when I get a serum or lotion, is to look at the list of ingredients to see how much filler there is, how much stuff that is actually bad for your skin, and the general quantity of "good stuff". You'd be amazed at how many ingredients are in some of the really popular or expensive creams, lotions, and serums that are not actually any good for your skin or is just worthless filler. This Tru Botanicals Firming and Lifting Treatment is FULL of great oils, extracts, and natural ingredients. The first ingredient is Wakame (a type of seaweed) Extract, then sea water, green tea leaf extract, milk thistle extract, and milk thistle ester. The ingredient list also contains, baobab seed oil, sweet cherry seed oil, rosehip seed oil, bergamot peel oil, mandarin orange peel oil, spearmint oil, orange peel oil, aspen bark extract, red algae, sugar kelp extract. Many of the ingredients are organic as well as made safe with the approval of PETA. As far as smell, it is a bit odd with a "woodsy" bergamot or mint mixture. Not at all like your typical face serum fragrance. It does not last long. The feel on your skin is not oily, but moisturizing and hydrating, leaving your skin very smooth. It is, however, oilier than most serums, but has a less thick feeling on your skin than most lotions. I did not put makeup on after putting this on in the morning, but I would suspect that it would not interfere with a light foundation. I think a heavier foundation would cause your face to be too oily too soon. Overall, I am super happy with this skin treatment and am expecting some good results in the long term. Short term (a few days), I can't see results, but my skin feels nice.

I really like that this product is natural and biocompatible. It doesn't contain any harsh chemicals or ingredients, so it's gentle on my skin. It also absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy or oily.

I just didn't LOVE this serum. For the price, I had higher expectations.The actual feel of the serum is nice. It's actually slightly thicker than what I am typically used to with a serum.It does make my skin feel nice while wearing it but it doesn't seem to have any lasting effects for me.I really am not a fan of the scent. It's HEAVILY floral scented.I will likely keep using it because I like the way it feels while it's on my skin but I wouldn't purchase this product in the future.
