Heinz Multi-Purpose Cleaning Vinegar, 128 oz, 6% Acidity, Poly Bagged & Boxed

Fabulous for may uses you already know. I use it a container, straight vinegar & liquid soap, to hold my sponge mop for dishes. Ready to clean, completely safe, disinfected and keeps the soap from being un-rinseable. Everything gets cleaner faster. Much healthier--no bacteria laden sponges! And great for larger messes. On the mop it's fabulous! Vinegar smell clears fast and does not hang on like cider vinegar. The strength takes care of almost everything. Kids? Leave a bowl w/ soap and 6% straight vinegar in the sink for silverware: it will be a fast easy lesson for getting things done. If not washed. just drop the dirty silverware in the bowl and it will be clean when you take it out! Great for cleaning pet areas--any grease (car, boots, etc) Just let something soak a short while and see what happens.But in less than 6 months I went from paying $6.45 per gallon to over $12-$14, now @18! per gallon!!! Makes me want to boycott everything involved!!!

am bit confused on why a 6% vinegar would have such less of a vinegar smell than 5% vinegars of other brands, even when i mixed those with water at 50/50, they still have a much stronger smell than this 6% does.. At first it made feel like this was not a 6% vinegar mix but, my doubts where alleviated some i suppose when i put baking soda in garbage disposal and poured some of this vinegar on it afterwards...it fizzled away some like it should have if vinegar but, i still feel bottle i received is less than a 6% vinegar mix for it did not go to town on garbage disposal like the white 5% vinegar from store does nor does it have a strong vinegar scent at all.. won’t buy again, if do will be from a local store itself.

Exactly what I needed to get the job done around the house. First time using Vinegar to clean so tried this specific cleaning version which is a bit stronger than your standard white vinegar. This makes quick work of grease and and dirt. Dilute it with plenty of water and you will be surprised how clean you can get your walls, wallpaper, stove, floors...everything. Also of note, the packaging was very secure and thick bag and in its own box within the shipping box. Best way to guarantee you don't open a box full of spilt vinegar.

Very disappointed after ordering TWO of these to find - as others have posted - that BOTH of the vinegar containers were LEAKING inside the plastic bag ! Fortunately, only about 3 to 5 ounces were lost but it is NOT fun pouring the product into other containers. I suspect the seam on the bottom of the bottles are either faulty or they can't stand up to the jostling of the shipping process.As far as the product, I tried some after sorting out the leaking containers. It has done a good job on my linoleum and bathroom sink and tub.

My bottle of vinegar leaked too, I see lots of people have had the same problem, Amazon's needs to tape the cap so it can't come loose.

The price on Amazon leaves A LOT to be desired.... I had no idea that cleaning vinegar should cost the same as regular vinegar... so I can't say to buy this on here... like I did... BUT.. it's great. Especially if you like to make drain volcanos at home. You don't need much of this. VERY potent.

Vinegar arrived in great condition. I was glad to get the large container from Amazon when I was unable to go out and shop. I use vinegar in my a/c unit and to clean. Husband as emphysema/copd so I can’t use bleach.

I use this for floors and to make my shower cleaning spray with dawn dish detergent, half and half in my own sprayer. For the shower it really keeps that dull soap scum from building up but is not caustic like some cleaners. Keeps my floor tiles shiny, mixed with water.. no rinse needed. Also put in your washing machine or dishwasher for a short load here and there to keep the scum from building up in the pipes.
