Cool Dog Tailgate Lock, 9-Inch

Brilliant solution to allow fresh air into your vehicle while keeping it secure. I own a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and it works great. Plenty of desk air pouring in for our German Shepherd.I bought a 6inch and 9 inch one.Both work well.Also use these to hold open fence doors in my property.Very solid items.Great product. Great gadget. Does the job, locks securely and is ease to use. 9" gives enough space for good circulation of air without exposing too much of the boot/dog. You need to ensure you leave your vehicle's front windows open an inch or so to allow the air to circulate properly. Good value for money.

I've been using this for a while now and can't speak highly enough, it took a little working out how to fit it with an electrically operated tail gate but once sorted it's a real benefit to my dog.I would never rely on it in direct sun but you can usually find somewhere with enough shade to allow enough ventilation with this simple device.Definitely recomend.

This is a simple device, that works as advertised. However, as mentioned in other reviews, the "hook" which connects to the u-bolt on the boot floor of my Zafira is v shaped and this means that it does not fit very snugly and has to be fiddled to get it to sit correctly and stay there whilst you connect other end to lock. A better design would have made this "U" shaped with the free end slightly longer, so that it stays in place more securely.Shame, as this is an unnecessary flaw in this effective device.

I purchased this lock last week for tailgate ventilation for my service dog. I bought it again for friend as it is most suitable for the purpose and of high quality material. I recommend it.

Ont peu enlevé le crochet une fois installé et coffre verrouillé, car pas assez long ou pas assez crochèté , donc accès à l’intérieur de la voiture (Renault megane break )DommageÀ l’aire solide

Genial funktioniert perfekt. Der Spalt zwischen der Kofferaumkante ud der Kofferraumklappe istt angenehm groß. Ein Einbrechen oder Hineinlangen ist durch die Arretierung nicht möglich!Sehr empfehlenswert!

Once I figured out how tightly I needed to screw the hook into tailgate latch (keep going!) so that it didn't simply unhook itself, it worked well. I probably would get a 12" or so length if I were purchasing it again.

Das ist mal ein anständiger Heckklappen-Abstandhalter! Die schwere Heckklappe vom Caddy wird weit genug offen gehalten und zuverlässig fixiert. Prima!
