It’s not Matte finish at all
It’s not a matte finish plus it’s less of a clay texture and more of a paste which is not what was said on the product description

Strong hold but heavy weight and hard to remove with fingers
The product is hard to remove with my fingers. It is a stronger hold than my previous craft clay hair clay but makes my hair less light.
