I did a lot of research, and was looking for a bike rack that would be easy to mount, remove, and store but was sturdy and wouldn't damage my bike. I wanted to be able to still use my rear hatch, and also go through the auto car wash I pay monthly for, so I needed something easily removable. I decided to get this as it was cheap, looked sturdy, and did everything I wanted it to.I'm not sure if the people who left low reviews are idiots, have never used anything with their hitch, or both. this was so easy to assemble I'm pretty sure a toddler could accidentally have it together if you left it in the same room for long. Comes with very clear instructions, the tools needed (not great, but they work. If you have a ratchet and sockets use it to speed it up), and even if you have literally negative mechanical expertise you'd be able to put this together.Anyone who says it "rattles" or sways, clearly didn't buy an anti-rattle hitch tightener to go with this. Mounting something on your hitch? Buy a Hitch Tightener. Duh. Maybe do google search before you do something next time. With a hitch tightener there is ZERO rattle, no sway, no movement at all. It's SOLID. You can't even tell its there until you check your rear view mirror.The tilt function o allow you to open your rear hatch functions perfectly, easy to unlock and secure, stop at exactly the perfect angle, full access to the back of your car/suv/truck etc. You don't need to touch your bike at all, as long as you've secured your bikes correctly, using the safety strap and following the instructions, they're not going anywhere. Plus when not using it it fold up nice and neat, very easily, no fuss no muss, don't worry bout it.Now, being a mechanic who also hauls motorcycles with a heavily modified hitch mounted carrier, I did drill out the 1/2 in lock pin hole to accommodate a 5/8 locking pin, as well as the 2" adapter to match. I'll be modifying my motorcycle carrier as well to be able to mount this onto it as well. I advise anyone who buys any hitch mounted device to buy a hitch tightener, and a locking hitch pin. I use the Master Lock 2866DAT, but there are far more secure locking pins out there if you're worried about someone stealing your $40 bicycle carrier lol.

This nifty bike rake has so many features, yet simple to use! For example our grandson's bicycle being a, small 2 wheel creation with training wheels, didn't necessarily fit the convenient straps! Move the straps? A snap! Bike fit perfectly among the larger bikes!!! Made from high quality materials, very easy to install! Thank you for such a wonderful creation!

Good price and quality.I don't intend to use it a lot but when I do it is sturdy.The only thing I've noticed is it sways a lot from side to side while driving, I'm not sure if all racks do that once the weight of a bike is put on them, but it means my bike slides to one side at times. Nothing major, just means I have to tie it better somehow. Other than that, it is definitely worth it.

This was easy to it together and looks extremely safe. Using it for the first time this weekend, but the way it was designed makes me feel safe before even using it!

I installed everything correctly per the instructions. When I first put it in the hitch, I put the safety bolt in the hole from left to right. It was secure but bounced around and was loud.. even with the noise reduction plate attached (tightly mind you). So I decided to screw the bolt in from right to left..it was a little tough to finish screwing in, but got it tightened all the way. This made it ridiculously quiet (which I was happy with). When it came down to unscrewing it (to take the hitch off), not sure what happened but it locked up on me eventually with a regular socket wrench. So I ended up having to use a breaker bar to try and loosen it, only to completely behead the bolt! Now I have a headless bolt securing the elbow part of the rack. I tried drilling a hole for a retractor set and it’s so damn tight that it won’t grip. Very aggravating. Cheap Chi^€$€ crap. I guess you get what you pay for

Had a small issue with rubber bike holders not tightening on the bike rack. Company immediately sent out a replacement without any issues. They responded to my email within a day. Good product for a much better price than others. I use it for carrying 4 bikes. I would definitely buy again from this seller.
