For the money you can't fault them and I wanted something to suit slim cork handles on nash dwarf rods. My only thing would be if these were on bank sticks they are fine as is. However I'm using this on a pod and I did notice a small bit of slippage and to ensure these are kept in position I'm going to add a small bit of superglue, personal preference to prevent them turning. No problem with NGT tackle that I have used so far and recommend

Great rod holder easy to use doesn't hold rod to tightly just the right amount of grip.

Immediate reaction is these are very decent for the price. They are spring loaded and open out enough to accommodate a slim cork butt. Release is very easy and you don't find the whole pod lifting when you grab the rod on a take, which happens with a lot of rubber grips..not sure how long they will last but for the money you could always carry a spare set. I imagine the spring is most likely to be the thing that fails, but the rest would still function.

Good quality , if your looking for butt rests for Sonik rods or any slim rods do not get these as these are not good enough to hold slim ones due to them being to big

Good item, holds the butt nice and firmly and releases easily when pulled vertically.

A few reviews mentioned they didn’t fit with cork handles but had no problem with mine. They’re on the smaller side but it fits my handles perfectly. All good ! Can’t wait to try them out on the bank.
