Love this knife
Beautiful and sharp, I love this knife! From the way it fits beautifully in my hand all the way down to the sharp point that lets me spear any veg or fruit I’m working with!! Outstanding knife!

It’s a keeper
I order this knife accidentally. It was in my cart and I forgot to remove it. My intention was to return it. For some reason the package was opened, so, I decided to take a look. BIG MISTAKE! After seeing it, I wanted it. I figured if I used it I wouldn’t like it. Second mistake. Now it is resting alongside my other knives. I love it! In my house I’m the cook, but after seeing it my wife said she can’t wait to use it. A definite keeper.

Good mid sized all purpose knife
I’ve had this several months now and use it often. Good all purpose utility knife. Don’t know how it will perform over time.

Great knife for the price
I've only had this knife for about a week. I picked it up on sale at Amazon and its well worth the money. Out of the box its sharpness is on par with my high end 8" Japanese chef knife (that cost 3 times what i paid for the Yokashi).I like the balance and weight of this knife a lot. its somewhere between the heft of a German knife and the lightness of my Japanese knife. It slides through everything I've throw at it with ease.Aesthetically, its a beautiful knife. I highly recommend this knife to anyone. If they made a paring knife and a nakiri knife in this same style I would buy them immediately.

Perfect Kitchen Knife
I have been using my new Yokashi, classic series, kitchen knife for a week now. I absolutely love it. I have tested it on various vegetables, fruit and meat and it has worked perfectly. I even bought a rather large rutabaga to test if I could half it and cut pieces for my stew - see the pictures for excellent result! I could not do that with my old knives. I was also impressed that the order arrived in time and both the knife and the packaging were flawless. The knife, however, is very sharp and I recommend wearing cut resistant gloves while using the knife and also to read carefully the instructions how to care for the knife. I can highly recommend this knife, it is worth every penny.

Looks great -- hard to clean!
I liked the steel quality and sharpness out of the box. It's a good looking knife. But: the laser etched lion logo on the blade gets stuffed with food. It's impossible to thoroughly clean and sanitize. I will consider using my Dremel tool to buff that out and make it actually cleanable. This was an otherwise very good knife!
