I was choosing between so many options and got this one. The grind is adjustable so you can keep finest ground, you also need to buy paper filters. If you don’t want to grind coffee beans you can also keep an option for ground coffee. Maximum serving 5 coffee mugs. Filter and kettle are washable in the washing machine.

I love everything about this product. It really makes good coffee comparing the previous one I did own, since it has an automated grinder.

The machine did not meet my expectations, I had almost one earlier little but deferent and it works well but this one it’s not good .

The machine is very good, only one thing is it keep adding water if you don't keep an eye, there is no water stopper if the number of cups is reached

Its not producing strong coffee, with many tries I discovered away to have a good coffee. After the grinding I leave the water for 90sec with coffee then I release the water to kittle.

nice design bad Grinder (coffee beans not equal shape after grinding mixed between fine and extra coarse) i bought the new version to upgrade . i think i'll go back to the old one

De koffiezetter is een degelijk apparaat, neemt in de breedte niet veel plaats in. bediening is zeer eenvoudig, binnen 5 minuten zet je koffie. ik vind het apparaat voor het malen stiller als mijn eerdere phillips. filter koffie is ook mogelijk instellen van minimaal 4 kopjes is met bonen de minimale hoeveelheid. Echter, ik houd van goede sterke koffie en geen donkere thee. De fijnste maal instelling en sterkte 3 voor bv 4 kopjes is niet te drinken. veel te slap. ik heb goede italiaanse bonen, fijnste maling, 6 kopjes malen voor 4 water, mwaaa de koffie zetter maalt nog steeds te grof, in vergelijking met filter koffie van DE. het water loopt te snel door in te grove maling, waardoor de smaak/sterkte niet in de te drinken koffie komt. Wat ik doe is de kan niet direct eronder plaatsen zodat de koffie even kan wellen dan kan eronder en dan smaakt de koffie zoals ik fijn vind. let op: dit is met bonen, filter koffie kun je zelf met schepjes afmeten. ik zal de volgende boon sterker/ intenser moeten kopen wil ik niet telkens op deze manier bonen koffie zetten. het is wel een fijn degelijk apparaat, heeft voor de koffie liefhebber wat configuratie nodig. Very convenient to have the machine grind and brew for you. I give full marks to that. It is very well built machine occupies very less space at the counter. Very easy to pour water, beans and also clean. But it has some major disadvantages. The grind size is not consistent and you can find mix of large and very small coffee grinds inspite of it using a burr grinder. The brewing is too fast and no way to control temperature of water. With medium roast you will get very weak and acidic coffee even for the finest grind size. Never use any light or medium roast beans. Even with dark roast beans, the brewing is not great. The coffee lacks body and can become slight bitter on selecting high coffee strength settings. If you are just looking for a convenient product with mediocre coffee then it is a very good deal, and please go for it. If you want more control and premium quality coffee then this is not the product.

Très bonne Cafetière fonctionnelle et complète au design sobre et élégant loin des "super-machines" exagérées aux prix démesurés. J'apprécie le choix de pouvoir se faire un café soit avec des grains frais passés par le moulin au dessus ou du café déjà moulu à verser directement dans le filtre. Possibilités de réglage de l'intensité du café et de la mouture des grains. Affichage de l'heure et possibilité de programmation du départ complètent les fonctionalités utiles de cette belle cafetière. Pas besoin de plus de folie. Melitta reste une référence en matière de cafetières au même titre que les 5 filtres de la marque fournis généreusement avec dans le carton ! What else !?...
