MK (ELECTRIC) MK Base MB2747DPWHI 13A 2G DP Switched Socket, White

Bought this purely for safety/isolation for kids room ,, but ended out unsure of what spec product received .Advertised as double pole DP but in description states its Single Pole SP ,, Amazon CC couldn't clarify which ,Advertisement page still same.Socket is installed , only way to be 100% , is uninstall and check with meter ,, call out fee for electrician is £50+ ,as all work finished , so worked out as expensive socket .It SP ,which i Reported to MK Electric 4 Months Ago but Still DP remains in Title ,, Also when reached to MK ,as a goodwill gesture they were sending out USB double sockets ,gave my address on request ,BUT NEVER ARRIVED ,empty gesture .Have to Revise my review ,,Courier arrived today with promised USB goodwill gesture ,top Quality .I had looked into Honeywell/MK and they are huge ,big orders to Big Company's so that they went to trouble to take care of me, speaks volumes about any the sort of company they are.I' so I'm bowled over , a big THANKS to Aidan H .

Nice large cable holes,essential when looping!

MK. It's a household name for quality electric components isn't it? This socket is no exception. Replaced a dodgy outlet in 5 minutes. Perfect.And the price is perfect too. Spot on.

Bought many electrical items like this, some have been rubbish,These look OK, seem safer than some others and better made.Remember Qualty last long after the price is forgotten and you can’t compromise on safety. Save a little bit on a cheap electrical item and your house could burn down.

seems ok but as there is only a screw to hold the wires in. Its difficult to retain the wires if there are 2 to screw in. It would be 5* if there was a screw with a plate to hold the wires.
