I use these bulbs for entertainment at home.
I use two of these bulbs per room, in stand up lamps aimed at the ceiling. Each room is about 15'x15'. These light up the room just enough to be able to socialize, without being too bright to mess up the dance floor area. Plus they give a neon effect to any light color clothing, shoes, makeup, or accessories. One other advantage for me is that they are dual voltage. I use 110-220V in my house, and I never have to worry about blowing these bulbs.
