Lovely paper
The media could not be loaded. I will absolutely be ordering more of this paper. It feels soft and I feel like it was so much easier to watercolor on this paper. The paper doesn’t curl up even when I keep adding water to the paper.

Good quality watercolor paper
This paper was of a texture that felt more like paper you'd make at home if you were making your own. Absorbed water but not too much water so my paint was easily applied and blended well when I needed to blend, stayed put when I wanted it to stay. Not as expensive as others that appear to be similar in style and type

Nice hand-made paper with deckled edges
I'm new to watercolor and ordered this simply as a "filler" to get free shipping when ordering another item. I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality and performance of this hand-made paper. It is thinner than the Arches I'm used to, but the watercolor doesn't bleed through or warp the paper. I tried out several of the 6x4 papers by painting flowers, and used an ink pen to highlight. It has a very smooth surface and is easy to both paint with watercolor and write on with a calligraphy pen. The ink does not bleed through, either. The deckled edges are very nice. The one thing you cannot do with it is lift color. The paper "pills". It's also hard to erase pencil marks, same reason. I like the look of this paper and will use these 6x4 papers to make greeting cards.

Good paper!
I'm a beginner...so I don't know a ton about watercolor papers and the comparisons, but this paper is easy to use and doesn't curl up at all. Any buckling that does happen while wet, smooths right out as it dries. It's not pure white. Sort of a creamy white. Nice and affordable. I'll buy more!

Wow! Way beyond my expectation!
This paper is like nothing I have ever used before. I learned long ago to just buy the really, really good and expensive watercolor paper. It makes a huge difference. I love to watercolor and turn them into cards. So today I used my carbon ink pen to draw a picture and then paint it. Some days my art looks fantastic and some days it looks like a kindergartner sat down at my desk. Today it was the kindergartner. I am all about not being discouraged so I tried something different.First I tried some blues and greens like water colors. I wanted to see how the paper held up. I was not careful, used lots of water, went back and forth many times with my brushes. I took it outside in the sun to dry and it took about 10 minutes with the sun and wind. The paper buckled just a tiny bit. I did not have it taped to a hard board when I painted. Once dry I put it under a stack of books and it is mostly flat after an hour. The pink one I wanted to try something different. I first put lots and lots of water on and then used a pink and a light tan paint. Let it dry, then tried another layer of the same colors. Took it outside to dry. The first layer dried very, very light. The 2nd layer is just what I wanted. This dried almost completely flat even after 2 heavy layers of water and paint. Nothing seeped through to the other side on either the blue or the pink. The edges of this paper (all 4 sides) is torn. It is lovely. You could cut it smaller but you would loose the beautiful edges. This paper has texture, but not like other watercolor paper. It can handle a lot of water and paint. It feels very sturdy and is not fragile even though it looks like it might be. I next tried tearing the paper after it was painted and it tore just like the original piece. It is a dream to draw on and to paint on. I dont have any inks so I cant attest to that, although I have been thinking about inking up a fish and making a print from it. I think this paper might be great for that and would love to try it!If you like to experiment, give this paper a try. I actually loved using it! It was super fun to try something outside of my comfort zone. It is beautiful paper!

Absolutely delightful for my purposes!
I love this paper, and I think the price point for what is being offered is fair. With this stack of 50 count, A5 size handmade, 100% cotton paper, you can make yourself a wonderful watercolor or mixed media sketchbook, or beautiful hand drawn and painted cards, woodblock or linocut prints, ….so many possibilities. When I first ordered this, I was a tad concerned about the 160gsm, but now that it is here, I can tell you that this paper handles watercolor and pen and ink like a champ. So far, I’m working on three botanical greeting cards, and would like to update and post the pics on this review when I’m done. I haven’t encountered any problems at all with warping, buckling, sizing, bleeding out of pen and ink, etc.,it is just a joy for me to work with.In my opinion, this paper passes the most important tests in that My artwork looks better on this paper, and it hasn’t given me any weird sizing issues or frustrated me in any way whatsoever. I look forward to being a future customer!

Reasonable Price and Warp-Resistant
I really like this paper. I use it a lot for experimenting with painting bouquets, both traditional and Ikebana style. I like to experiment using different types of flowers, leaves, and filler and this paper works well for that. I like how my flora and fauna look and I don't feel bad if I make a mistake that isn't fixable (although most are). This paper is loose sheets rather than a block so water control is very important to avoid warping. On the rare occasion where the paper has warped in a spot, it lays back down nicely when dry. The one drawback (or advantage, really) is that the paper does 'pill' when overworked. The disadvantage is that it is harder to fix mistakes; however, the advantage is that I learned quite quickly to not overwork my painting when it was still wet. I find that if I let it dry first, the paper is amenable to lifting and fixing as long as I think out my strategy before diving in. Even if worse comes to worst, if the painting ends up unfixable for some reason, at least I haven't ruined a fortune's worth of paper!

Very happy with the product
This was my first time using these cotton watercolour paper and I love them! When you are using good paper, you aren't spending your time fighting it with your paintbrush. Once I run out of the pack, I'm definitely buying more.

Passable!
Does not come close to Arches watercolor paper! Still, it is an experience working on this paper. Not 160 GSM - much lighter. Don't use masking liquid!

Good for Watercolour cards or quick sketches!
Do not use tape on this paper or masking in watercolour as surface is not sized and will lift paper when tape used.. Nice size for watercolour cards attached to cardstock or strictly as a postcard.
