This item will not be used for rubbish
The bin will be used for the collection of used spectacles from opticians or medical outlets for redistribution and use in Africa and Asia. It was more expensive than an identical item from another store but unfortunately they had none in stock so I ended up at Amazon

Size and easy to clean
The bottom of the bin is not a true colour to the picture. It is darker.

Perfect Bin
This bin is exactly what I was looking for. It is a metallic silver grey that blends insignificantly in to my kitchen but more importantly, it has a lift up lid that stay open once lifted, which means that it is easy to empty things in it.

happy with the size. fits normal sized bin bags and not to big for a room. also the design is good for not being noticed.

Useful bin
Good sized bin, solid construction. Could be used for many purposes.

Not good
Expected better quality from addis. Clips that hold lid on broke within 6 months, very flimsy. Lid now slips off

Lid comes off too easily
Size is good, but the top is quite loose and easily detached from the bin while trying to put stuff in the bin, which can be quite an inconvenience.

Good capacity kitchen bin
The only negative is that the lid unit could be snugger and deeper as it slides off if you knock it otherwise it's very practical as you dont lose capacity as with swing lids. Make sure you have enough head height to lift the flap up to put rubbish in. Lift tops are not easy to find-well done Amazon.
