Great quality, great size, I wanted the largest as I have many half pans I've poured from tubes and I've had to put them in several little tins as I didn't have anything big enough. I just wanted one or two main tins to take away with me on holidays so I don't have to bring several.Came in its own box, nice and secure. There were two marks on mine, like hard enamel or something, took some scratching off, but they don't interfere with my paints so I'm not bothered.I love the large mixing area, I make do with the smaller tins but this is a welcome change.Pans are easy to fit in, you can bend back the metal holdings inside with ease, and nothing rattles around too much. Does its job. I can even get some handmade bought pans in the center, some pans are a tad smaller than the average half pan, so I could technically get more than 52 pans.Well worth it for traveling artists, or those of you who have loads of half pans spread out in many little tins. It's nice to keep them all in one.

I bought it as a replacement for the new plastic box that my paint pans kept falling out of.This is well designed, with room for 50 half pans. Its robust enough to use inside or out in the garden. The pans are held in place by a metal clip, it takes a little tweaking, but the whole thing looks perfectly fine. I'm ordering a second one for a different selection.

Nice pallet well made good weight to it not flimsy. Nice compact size considering you can fit 52 half pans in it. Better than my Windsor Newton 48 palette which is a pain to open until you find the knack. I wanted this palette to bring together my collection of metallic watercolour half pans in one unit works a dream. Impressive.

Also available in black. Meeden make good quality tins at a reasonable price, often sold via art shops.

I bought two (one for a friend) We are both delighted as we had been wasting watercolour. No more waste, really portable and compact - Pretty tin. I no longer need to take all my watercolour tubes to Art group. Can fill up the empty spaces (plenty available). Even when paints dry out - it's just like using pans - you just wet your brush and away you go. I would recommend this to budding Artists.

Great little tin for building your own palette of colours. It comes complete with empty half pans and you can fit extra half pans in the empty middle section. Great price, built in mixing areas perfect for use at home or on the go. Would recommend.

I do like the palette but 2 things would improve it for me. 1. The pans supplied fit quite tightly and feel secure, however, I wanted to use this for W&N half pans which are just a tad smaller and therefore, the fit is looser. I would not like to store it horizontally in a bag. 2. The hinges that hold the pans are in the middle of the 2 runs, whereas, they would be more user friendly being on the outside of each run, giving full access to all of paints from one position.

This is a very sturdy metal pallet with lots of space to mix colours. The pans are a little bigger that my W&N pans but you get a pack that fit better. I am still using the pans I had though as you can adjust the tension easily, they just rattle a bit but they do stay in the track so no big deal to me.Plenty of room for a brush or 3 too, I only use 3 of the tracks for my paints so I use the other track for a couple of water brushes.Compact, lightweight, sturdy and easy to use. I have had it a little while now and I expect it to last quite a long time.

I ordered a 55 half pan set. Looking at the box it said it was a 48 pan set and looking at the pallette it is 52 pans. As long as you are good with 52 is works really well. They are stiff to take out but I'm sure that will change after they are taken out and put back in a few times. I feel this takes up less space and weighs less in the backpack than 48 tubes of paint.

After reading a lot of reviews, and hearing comments about other palette tins, this one seemed to stand out. I must say that I am VERY pleased with this palette for a number of reasons: First, it is pretty. Second, it is very sturdy. Third, the little containers for the paint are a good size for the brushes I use the most. And the mixing area that folds out is great, especially for travel. I'm sure I will buy another one, as I continue to collect tubes of paint.

This is a metal palette with plenty of room for a plethora of paints. It is billed as holding 12 full or 24 half pans, but you can also fill the middle compartment/row with more: 11 half pans or 5 full pans (maybe 6, but I only use half pans in mine to cram in as many colors as possible). The trick is to slide them in 'sideways' in the mddle row with long side of pan on top, as opposed to in the other rows with short side of pan on top.A little heavy maybe to carry in a field kit, as it's metal, and the paints do weigh more, but still very nice.I have a smaller Meeden palette like this designed for 12 half or 6 full pans, and it too is terrific. Big fan of the Meeden palettes. Can count on quality, craftsmanship, design, and durability.

Me lo llevé de viaje y al abrirlo,se habian soltado y pegado casi todos los godetes. Un montón de material a la basura. Malisimo.
