Excellent Road Atlas
This atlas was delivered the day after I ordered it and was very securely packaged. I 'm so pleased I selected the leather bound edition as it looks and feels very luxurious. It's great to handle with flaps and numbered indication to follow your route more easily. The maps are clear and easy to read and follow. Our old map book was in desperate need of replacement as it was well out of date so it will be great to not get lost when we find ourselves driving along roads that don't appear on our old one. I'm not a fan of satellite navigation and much prefer to follow a route on a map. Terrific value as far as I'm concerned.

Beautifully bound map
Really lovely map. Slightly different than my normal ones but I will enjoy using it

Lovely leather bound road maps
What a lovely roadmap book. Obviously, it’s out of date already as maps always are but far sturdier than the ordinary paperbound spiral versions. Although it’s a trifle large, this is obviously an item for the library or the den, rather than an on road reference but useful to be drafted in on the odd occasion (say, holidays)and should last a long time as a reference.

Luxury Motoring Atlas
This leather-bound road atlas is unashamedly a luxury version, in that the mapping itself sill still needs updating just as often as that in cheaper editions. But, that being said, it is undoubtedly pleasant to use and to keep in the car, and with reasonable care and stowage it survives without becoming bent and tatty. The scale (3.2 miles to the inch) is larger than many road atlases, and it is easy to use.My one grumble is that their sign for a steep hill is only a single arrowhead, irrespective of gradient. The usual OS symbolism of a single arrowhead for gradients from 1 in 7 to 1 in 5, and double for steeper than 1 in 5, is so very much more useful - and especially since most modern cars can take 1 in 5 in their stride, but if towing a heavy caravan that is likely to be about the limit, so due warning of anything steeper would be helpful. On a recent trip to the Lakes I was surprised to see the Wrynose and Hardknot Passes - which I happen to know well, and which at 1 in 3 (for Hardknot) are allegedly the steepest roads in Britain - indicated with only a single arrowhead. That is entirely correct for the declared symbols, but not as helpful as OS maps using double arrowheads for the steeper gradients.

A must have!
This book weighs a ton! It's clear to read and full of useful information to help make road journeys interesting. It should last as long as the last one of these we bought 25 years ago!

Great Road Atlas
Really nice Road Atlas. The leather binding gives a classy feel about it. It’s a nice addition to the sat nav.
