Beautiful island; PITA assembly
First of all, be prepared to make a mess. You need space to put this beast together and they packed the box full of blown styrofoam that clings to EVERYTHING, and it will get everywhere. (See last picture for example)There are So. Many. Parts. I put it together myself but it would be much easier with a partner. Alone it took me over two hours. The instruction manual is all pictures, so pay close attention to each one or you will miss steps. Uber frustrating. Notice the pictures that show it right side up versus upside down. Assembly will be easier if you put it together as pictured. I didn’t realize the drop leaf was pictured assembled with it upside down—I made it happen right side up, but trust me when I say that it wasn’t easy. This thing is really solid overall, my only complaint is the backing on it is pretty thin piece board, probably 2-3 mm. Seems sturdy enough but a few strong kicks would probably punch through. (Not that anyone would do this on purpose..)You can adjust the hinges after mounting, so don’t be dismayed if the cabinet doors initially open/close rough. The manual will show you how to make small adjustments to get the alignment right. The drop leaf has robust hinges that are easy to engage to lower it back down. It locks into place automatically by raising it level with the top.I’m very pleased with it, and look forward to wheeling it out when I need extra counter space for baking or big meals. My kitchen is too small to keep it in there perpetually, so the drop leaf is excellent for storing it in my hallway.

Absolutely stunning!
Received quickly. Installation was easy. Instructions were easy. It is sturdy and looks beautiful. The glass was well packaged and protected. The size is large and holds plenty. The screws aligned. Rolls easily and has 2 locks on 2 wheels to hold in place. There are 2 glass shelves, and has under shelf storage for wine glasses and wine bottles. Really nice piece, fits perfectly in my decor.

Shorter than kitchen counter
I love the look of this piece, especially the top because it doesn't look cheap. However, the drawer bottoms and backboard are thin and the wheel hardware are definitely cheap. Drawers easily slam shut if you're not careful, which don't pull out all the way. The item itself is 32.5 inches tall while the actual kitchen counter is 36 inches tall. It therefore encourages you to slouch while cooking which is the biggest downside. It feels also a bit foreign because of that height discrepancy but I'm getting used to it.The extra storage AND counterspace was needed in my new apartment that only has 21inches of counterspace, with cupboards that only fit my wares. So I've been using this new island for my baking supplies and as a pantry. And in case anyone was wondering what the back looks like (I sure did since it's a floating piece), I included a photo. I think it looks pretty nice. I don't mind that being exposed to the entryway. And pardon the mess: I took these pictures after having baked with it. Also to show that it's coming to good use already. The hooks on the side do come in handy, however I wish they locked onto the pole rather than free-hanging because sometimes removing a utensil will take the hook with it. I'm not a huge fan of how close my spatula is to the floor but this is better than nothing. As for sturdiness, I'm always concerned about that when it comes to Amazon furniture at this price point. This island doesn't wobble and the wheels don't glide around even when unlocked which is super nice. You have to give it a firm push/pull in order to move it around. This took me, by myself, about 3.5 hours to build. The instructions were mostly clear and easy to follow. Step 4 was a little difficult only because there's a lot of overlapping dotted lines, so at first I wasn't completely sure what went where. But I figured it out.In step 6, it shows to place board 8 into board 4, but that makes it into a free moving teeter-totter that will absolutely clatter to the floor (not good when you have below neighbors and no carpet). I'd suggest screwing in board 7, jump to step 7, attach board 7 to board 2. Once that's secure, THEN put board 8 in. Doing this also makes it easier to line everything up and connect at the correct lengths, which also reduces potential damage.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. The only two things I'd change are the height and the drawer tech. I wish it was all real wood but this will work for now.

Amazing value
I put this island together by myself in about 3 hours. Instructions were clear, and all the bits were labeled. I am notorious for putting things together wrong, and having to go back and disassemble to correct my mistakes - I only did that once on this build, and it was an easy fix. Finished piece looks really nice, feels sturdy, and is generally much higher quality than I would have expected for the price. I'm REALLY happy with it, and would recommend it.

Perfect!
Aside from the directions missing adding screws and locks (when the two sides are being attached to the center), everything was well marked and directed. The result is a sturdy, nice looking, and functional piece. All pre-drilled holes lined up and extra hardware was included.

It doesn't line up very well
The product is nice but once it was assembled it was easy to see it has many flaws. The draws and cudboards don't line up very well, there's bigger gaps on one side of the draws and cudboards compared to the other, it's not flush at all. A bit disappointed with the finished result.

Nice add to the kitchen
Very nice looking island, lots of storage space, and good heavy wooden top with awsome shelf made of same wood as top. Lot's of room to work on a sturdy product. Instructions are easy to follow, but it does take time to put together. I had several hrs. but well worth it.

Looks like nice quality except it was delivered in a pristine box containing 2 broken pieces.
We were hoping for replacement pieces and this was the only way to reach you. This product is too big to return. I hope you can help.July 9, 2024

Good looking unit
It was just what I needed to fill a space in my kitchen. I was able to store the big items like air fryer which was cluttering countertops.I had to hire someone to put it together though. No way I could have done it.

Revived damaged panels which show the low quality of the product and will be returning

Poor Quality Cabinet
This cabinet took days to put together because of extremely poor instructions & product materials are nothing more than junk. This is a big waste of my time & money. It is assembled but who knows how long it will last. Amazon could do well by not selling this product because my impression of quality with Amazon is greatly diminished.
