I have a small 8x7 office with standard height ceiling that needed more circulation. I was concerned about a fan overwhelming the room, but wanted one that still moved a lot of air. This fan with the deep 22 inch clear plastic blades and low profile mount was perfect! You don't even notice the fan and the amount of air it moves is more than enough even on the slower speeds. It's super quiet and very easy to install. The remote is very easy to use but you can't link it to a smart phone like some of the other larger models. Here are a couple of things you might want to know in making your own decision.1. the air flow is more direct similar to a typical floor fan so in a larger 10x10 room you may not feel the air in the corners of the room.2. when you turn on the wall switch the light comes on but the fan does NOT. You have to use the remote to start the fan each time after the power has been shut off. The fan will still run if you use your control to turn the light off.3. The light is bright which works great for a work area (kitchen, office, laundry room, etc) but it can’t be dimmed. You can change the color of the light from very warm, standard, and bright daylight which has somewhat of a dimming effect. To change the color you have to switch the wall light switch or remote control switch on-off-on quickly. It will stay set to your last color unless you quickly turn the switch on-off-on again.4. The both the light and fan can be controlled by the remote and you can wall mount the remote in the provided holder. You would just always leave your wall light switch in the on position and use your remote to control the light and fan.5. whenever you use an electrical twist connector (as provided in the kit) to connect a solid wire to a stranded wire you want to be sure that the stranded wire sticks slightly ABOVE the solid wire before twisting on the connector. And do NOT twist the stranded wire around the solid wire. This will insure that you will have a good connection and the stranded wire won’t pull back out.

This is really cute and quiet. We love the remote control-The only caveat is that when we turn on the switch, only the light goes on, not the fan. You have to use the remote control, which can be mounted next to the switch. Also- there are 3 light filters and the only way to get to the one wanted is to flip the switch until it pops on. That’s not a big deal for us because we like all of the lights anyway.

These "Big Little Fans" are far more efficient than you would expect until you try them. The amount of air they move and their illumination are way ahead of many big fancy models I have seen and tried through my lifetime (I'm 81 yrs. old) . The installation is far easier than all I have tried to date.

This little fan puts out an amazing breeze and is so quiet I forget that it is on. Perfect for my little office where I take phone calls and Zoom sessions. The description says "3 color temperature" on the light, but I can't see any way to change that on the remote and there are not instructions in the paperwork. Not a big problem, but a bit disappointing. Installation was easy until we got to attaching the canopy. That was difficult to make all the screws fit. Also, notice in the picture that it doesn't go all the way to the ceiling and there is no way to raise it higher. Still, it is a great little fan and light for the money.

The fan is VERY small so it wouldn’t really work for a bigger room but it’s great for a smaller space and to get the air moving. The light is bright but not offensive. Overall a great fan and value for the money.

The fan only covers a small area. It does blow hard however it only covers that isolated area underneath the fan.. all other functions are great

I am a Master Electrician who has installed thousands of fans over my 44 year career. I choose two of these fans for their contemporary looks and the D C motor, which has advantages over a A C motor.I installed these in a enclosed porch with a 9 foot ceiling, so the bottom of the fan is just over 8 feet off the floor. I like the lights and the remotes, no problem. But they do not move much air at all. With both fans on high, spaced about 6 feet from each other their is barely any air movement at all. I even lit a candle and held it at chest height and the flame hardly flickered . I would suggest buying a 5 blade fan vs. this 3 blade fan. I will most likely replace these two fans with something that moves some air.

This is easy to install, I did it by myself in 30 mins while caring for my 1 yr old twins and hubby was at work, absolutely the quietest fan I have ever heard. The breeze the fan creates in the different settings is great for the twins room as well!Only part I'm not happy with is you can't pick your favorite light brightness and leave on that setting, it switches between the 3 options.
