IKONG Compatible Replacement Drum Unit for Brother DR630 works with Brother DCP-L2520DW, HL-2340DW HL-2380DW HL-L2300D HL-L2320D,MFC-L2700DW MFC-2740DW As you can see, it's advertised as DR-630,but i was sent DR-360 which doesn't fit in my HL-2340dw printer. I tookit to the Dominican Republic and unable to return it. no link to complain to vendor. I'll suffer the loss.Update: I was contacted by a rep from IKONG, and they were more than willing to replace the the drum with the correct one that was ordered. I’m confident I’ll be satisfied, but I’ll update this at that time. Definite kudos on customer support!!Final Update:I received the replacement DR-630. I put it in my printer and it’s printing like new. I just printed a 250 page book in duplex mode and the printing was sharp and crisp like new. 5 stars for the product and 5 virtual Stars for more than excellent customer service. I’m going to order another one for my MFP-2740dw which uses the same as my HL-2340dw. T H A N K S ! IKONG!

My replacement drum arrived quickly and was safely packaged and protected. It was very easy to insert. However, I'm falling far short in the "saavy" part of being technologically or mechanically saavy, and I was perplexed why my Brother printer was telling me I needed a new drum when I just put one in. "Read the instructions," my late father always used to say, so I did. The Brother manual told me what to do to reset the counting function for the replacement drum. Easy peasy, even for a naive chiquita like me.It's a great product and is offered at a fabulous price. I've already sent out emails to family and friends to look here when they need new stuff. Great customer support and follow-up to questions too. You're safe here, and you'll be happy. Just check your printer model number before ordering to make sure you get the right drum, and then read the printer manual (usually available online) to reset the count. My printer still worked fine with the replacement drum even without resetting the count; I just didn't like the "error" message telling me to replace the drum. It would have worked fine either way, so don't be intimidated by printer messages. It's just best to reset the count.

Somehow, I put paper in my Brother paper tray with a staple in the corner. The good news is that the printer was not damaged, but the drum (with only a few hundred prints on it) was damaged.At first I thought the toner was low, so I replaced it but still had streaked printing. I did all the recommended cleaning and resetting that Brother recommends. Since those efforts didn't fix the printing issues, we ordered this replacement drum as the next trouble shooting tip as set forth in the Brother manual.It was very easy to install, with no mess -- just pull out the old drum, take the existing toner out of the old drum, remove the paper covering the photo-sensitive drum (black paper with an indicating arrow showing what to remove and which way to pull it off), insert the toner into the drum, lock it into place, and then re-insert the drum into the printer. Close the printer toner access door, and it's good to go.Well priced for 12,000 or so pages -- less than 1/3 of what an OEM (Brother-branded) drum costs.Only negative is that there are no directions or indications what to do with the old drum. Is it trash? Is it hazardous waste? Is it recyclable? If so, where do I send or take it?There were no directions in or on the box, and nothing that I can see on the product page, so we will see if we can recycle it at a local big-box office-supply store.Very pleased with this drum and recommend it to all.

I thought I was going to have to spend one hundred dollars on a replacement drum. I could not believe this worked. I was so happy. It only cost me twenty bucks for a replacement drum as well as toner. Now that's savings! For the folks who are complaining that brother still tells you that you need to replace after putting in, that's because you have to reset the drum counter on your brother. Visit the brother website on steps on how to do this. Make sure you read the model numbers. They list which ones this drum is for. My model was listed and it fit perfectly.

If you didn't know when buying toner cartridges you need to replace the drum, I say every 10,000 pages but you can be the judge of that!This is a very high quality drum and I used it to replace my original drum that came with my printer a year ago.I always use generic toner and that won't change, have never had a drum change before. I've tested some pages and it works great and clear.I've posted some pics of when I opened the product. Neatly packaged

This unit was shipped very quickly and in good condition. Still having a few pages on the old drum I was able to compare print quality, and it was identical.Note on my Brother unit there's a process to reset the drum counter. Merely installing a new drum doesn't do it. You have to open the front cover and then hold down the "okay" button for two seconds. It will then prompt you to reset the drum counter.If it doesn't hold up for 12,000 pages I'll be back to adjust my rating.

I’ve been using this for nearly 2 months and it has worked wonders for me! Had to buy this out of pocket for my office and I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg, but was also skeptical regarding print quality and how long it would last. Prints amazing and very easy to install.

The IKONG Compatible Replacement Drum was packaged exactly as pictured. It fit perfectly and it was the exact size I ordered. I couldn't believe the quality for the price! It is amazing! I needed it for college and I do a ton of printing. It is still going strong even with after market toner cartridges. Don't waste money on name brand, because there is absolutely no need to! Honest to God this is an an awesome quality product at an affordable price with extremely fast shipping!
