Rit Dye Liquid – Wide Selection of Colors – 8 Oz.

I used this to change the colour of white towels i got , i put 3 towels in the machine and poured this in , they came out a lovely colour , but the colour does run in future washes , so when i washed them the first time i put an old white t shirt and a grey t shirt in with them to see what happens , The grey one had some plastic printed stuff on the front . so i thought that would go a bit wrong , but no it came out perfect and the printing on it was not effected by the dye at all it was no big loss if it went wrong , and they came out a lovely purple colour too , so had 2 for the price one in a way . I would wash these separately for future washes , because i do suspect the colour will run for quite a while . But they go well in my purple bathroom and am very happy with the results , Would certainly buy again .

Had a very expensive linen jacket whose colour had faded but one treatment with the dye produced a stunning result. I used a little more than the recommended amount and let it soak for longer, all with no regrets. A very inexpensive rehabiliatation of a favourite jacket!

Let me start by saying I'm no expert in dyeing stuff. So bearing in mind I didn't have a clue what I was doing I would say this dye is easy to use. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. I thought it was a bit expensive for how small the bottle was but I see it's already come down in price on Amazon so bit annoyed I bought it last week for £5 more. The colour these dyes seem to give out varies a lot. My experience has been it comes out a lot lighter than you'd expect. Mine came out more of a peachy salmon colour rather than a deep tangerine, I wish I'd had more dye to experiment with but was not going to buy 3 bottles just so I got the exact shade right.I also don't feel the confident in how it will hold up after too much washing ....I think it might fade....overall it's a decent dye for certain projects but I wonder if there might be better options out there....

Followed instructions to the T in my front load washing machine. Granted I don’t believe I bought enough to dye it the colour we wanted, 2x bottles for a super king duvet 100% cotton.But left really obvious patches where dye was not dispersed evenly. Really upsetting as i said I literally followed heir instructions to the letter.Hopefully I can find a better dye from another company and dye this set a dark colour to cover up the stains.

Easy to use in the washing machine, very even dye which has lasted well with no fading.

Had an old greyish dress fit for the bin. Didn't expect the dye to be able to fix it but oh my god!! Dress was 100% Nylon. Used a cup of vinegar and teaspoon of detergent and hot water. Colour is fab. Pictures from my phone don't do the colour justice. It's very neon green! 😀 Will definitely be buying more colours, thank you!
