Got it out of the box and it was easy to put together. seemed to be built well and was sturdier than I thought it would be. Worked rather well to spread compost over my front yard. I was surprised on how evenly it was spread. i would recommend it

This was well made and worked well for my 5000sq ft yard to spread top soil. Be careful what topsoil bags you buy, some have a lot of sticks in them which clog the drum quickly. Stick to the dirt bags and you’ll be fine

Love this tool. Makes spreading peat easy. Clasps got wonky a bit but they close if I jiggle them.

I decided to overseed my front yard this year. In the past I used a rack to smooth out a layer of topsoil on the bare spots of the lawn. After seeing a video on YouTube about the compost spreader I decided to purchase one and try it out. It was easy to assemble and using it to apply the topsoil and then the peat moss saved me a lot of backbreaking racking. It took half to time to apply over 30 bags of soil and 20 bags of peat moss. Also, it cut down on the mess. The spreader applied an even layer of soil to spread the seed on. I wish I had taken before and after pictures of its use. If you are going to overseed a large section of lawn I would highly recommend using this spreader.

I usually spread my top-dressing with shovel and wheel barrel over the course of a few days. After watching a few YouTube videos, I finally bit the bullet and bought this thing! Although it's called a "compost spreader" it works amazing for spreading soil as top dressing. I had a 50/50 mix of black earth and sand, and I was able to put down a nice consistent 1/2 inch layer over my lawn. Took me a day to do my whole property instead of a few and the results are very satisfying!The build is sturdy and tough. The paint lasted through all the shovel hits and the rolling. The three spring loaded clips did not come undone at all!I highly recommend this fair price product!

La quincaillerie étaient lousse dans la boîte. Le fond de la boîte était endommagé donc il manquait une vis et un écrou important pour le montage. J’ai eu l impression en ouvrant la boîte , que la quincaillerie avait été lancé dans la boîte sans avoir été placé dans leur sac respectif, ce qui explique avec la boîte endommagé la perte de certains morceaux. Dommage car le rouleau semble très solide.
