This is a must have for cats, especially my water loving bengals. This will absolutely support them. The details are what exceed my expectations, everything about it is non slip, it won’t damage the pool liner the way it goes up against it, even the rivets on the back are better than just a screw. As you can see the cats are curious. I have 4 cats so we don’t typically get any critters that will need to use this but this thing would absolutely help any small animal. I’m so impressed with the quality. 100% a 5 star product. The thing to put a weight in is a little small. It needs more weight than I can fit in there so I put a big rock down also. When I read the reviews, it looked very large in the pictures and I was concerned it would take up a good amount of space in the deep end. That’s why I posted the third photo which is showing that it really doesn’t take up much space in the pool as far as affecting the kids available space.

Nice quality and easy to assemble and install. Folds out of the way when swimming and quickly folds back into place. I like the pvc support on the back as it holds it firm in the water and the steps on the upper surface make for good traction for our cat. Nice safety device.

This is an awesome product. It is very well built and has easy to follow instructions. Very simple to put together. Hopefully never need it, but a great piece of mind to know it is there if needed. It is very sturdy. It will easily support the weight of a cat or bunny. We have lost a few bunnies over the years and nice to know a product like this exists. Wish we would have known sooner, but better late than never. Excellent product and highly recommend to anyone that has a pool and pets or wildlife that can fall in and drown. This product will keep those unfortunate events from happening in the future.

This is a good design, but the platform's sharp edges damages vinyl. Those edges rest against the rim on the pool, where the liner wraps around the pool's support poles. The platform has sharp plastic edges that inevitably bite into the vinyl. For its $80+ price tag, that issue needs to be addressed.

We bought this because this year we have had bunnies and a possum end up in the pool… we had two we did not get to in time … this is very sturdy and has a “kickstand” under the ramp that stabilizes it. The surface is textured so not slippery. I am not sure wildlife will use it but I am hopeful! It came with clear directions with pictures. I think it will at the very least give small wildlife a respite spot until rescue. I will update if we get evidence of wildlife using it

We purchased this to mostly be an aid for our small dog, but also our medium sized dogs to assist them out of the pool if they fell in. We exposed and trained them to go to this area if they needed to get out. So far they haven't had to use it that we are aware of! None of them go into the water voluntarily. It makes us feel better that they have a better chance of getting out if they ever fell in. It is sturdy, easy to put together and so far has held up well in very hot/sunny conditions of daily use for 4 months! It is smaller/narrower than we would like, but good enough for its purpose of better peace of mind!

I feel a lot better having this in my pool. I’ve had 4 separate occasions where my cats fell in the pool. It’s scary and I’ve been there and helped them out. Our steps are high for them to reach. I now have a sick cat that is not so steady on his feet and this makes me feel a lot better in case I happen to go in to the house and leave them for a short time. The construction seems durable, non skid. I did feel a bit better putting a heavy duty sand bag as my cats are heavy males and I didn’t want to take the chance. Every cat/pool owner should have one!

Tried this, but when he tried to pull himself up, it just fell in. It was weighted down with twice his weight-much more than the directions called for. When they are anxious, this just isn’t enough.
