It was a present for a friend. She is pleased with it.

Very stylish - but the spout dribbles down the outside, the lid lets heat escape ( being a steel sheet) and there is no inner lip to the lid ( as with ceramic lids to traditional styled pots) so if tea is swirled around it runs out and down where the users fingers are - very painful.In the far East teapots have been used for many centuries and have resulted in the traditional rounded ceramic, with a pronounced " drip guide" to the spout, and a ceramic lid which sits well within the body of the pot. Also the inner leaf tea strainer is not easy to clear of leaf debris, should be more rounded in shape."Form follows Function", as the saying goes, with good reason.

This teapot was worth the price tag. As soon as I opened it I knew my search for a teapot had ended! The internal infuser is stainless steel with a small plastic handle and is very sturdy. I bought it to brew Kukicha tea (boiling it as recommended makes it bitter). This teapot means I can brew the tea for 5 mins (or longer) for maximum flavor and it remains piping hot. Love it!!

Brilliant a teapot that doesn't drip everywhere when you pour from it and it looks really smart too!

Great little teapot. Only downside is that you can JUST get 2 mugs of tea out of it
