Hangs over outside tap and keeps hosepipe tidy and off the ground.

So easy, just pop it over the tap, loop up the hose and stick it on the hook. Job done

This hook for the hose pipe is ok, doing the job, but not the best.A little bit flimsy.Also a little bit awkward to put the hose pip on it as it hangs right under the tap.

I had bought a new hose, one that collapses when it's empty and thought this product would help keep things tidy as hose 100ft long. The first thing was that it comes with a great big sticky label on the front which I couldn't get the glue off. Secondly, the product can't lie flat against the wall unless all your pipework is inside and only the tap outside. Mine has the pipe then the tap and the holder just hangs sideways or straight from the thinnest part of the tap. It just felt a lot of weight on the weakest part of the tap and so I decided not to use it. It looked a good idea but didn't work for me, maybe with a shorter hose I would have felt more confident.

It may possibly have been my fault for not paying more attention but when I purchased this item I did not pay attention to the fact that it needed to fit over a tap. We do not have a garden tap and so there were no fixings to attach it to a wall or fence. This made it useless to us. We ended up using plastic flex ties to fix it to a pipe. Not ideal but it works. The items itself is made of metal I believe and looks ok but is overpriced for what it is. It would be worth it if it came with fixings and a couple of holes in it to be able to fix it to anything. I queried with the supplier before I intended to return it and their responses were slow and abrupt. I kept the item anyway so if you have a tap and want it to hand over the tap it will be sufficient.

Good Item, did what I needed it to do. I needed to take the adapter off the tap in order for it to fit and it would probably be suited to a tap installed at waist height rather than knee height so that the hose doesn't drag on the floor but otherwise a great little item. Would recommend.

does the job for use with expandable hoses. i had to keep my hose in its box before this purchase, if you live in an area where there is a lot of garden thefts then i advise you to put it inside somewhere, i did for peace of mind and we are not really prone to theft (probably due to my oversized guard dogs) if youve got a self retracting/expabding hose thios item is a must and terrific value.
