Finally! My TV light strip always on problem is fixed
I received a govee TV LED light strip and was amazed at how nice it made my TV until I realized that the thing just doesn't turn off. I found out about this power strip and it is amazing! I plugged my television into the control slot and I plug my TV sound bar and my TV LED light strip into the switched slots and now they only turn on if I'm using the TV.

This is a great product, I don't know why this doesn't have more attention.
This is a great product for controlling several devices using the a single AV device that has some standby mode. In my usage scenario, I have everything hook-up to the switched ports, with my receiver acting as the control device. Therefore, when the receiver turns on, the additional devices automatically turn on (in my case, it's some USB streaming things, phono preamps, subwoofer amplifier) etc. No more subwoofer amplifier cooking 24/7.

Pretty good - could be better
Pretty good for TVs and entertainment systems. Not good for routers, modems, and other devices that use “wall wart” style plugs. The outlets on the power strip are oriented the wrong direction and the wall warts can’t be plugged in (too wide).

Works perfectly
Needed a way to control power to Rel Tx8 subwoofer automatically when Denon avr was turned on. Plugged avr in control receptacle (master) and sub into switch receptacle. Avr connects to TV through eArc hdmi. Thus, turn TV on, which turns avr on, which turns sub on. Reverse is true also; turn off TV, turns off avr, turns off sub. Works perfectly.

Convenience Convenience Convenience
I frequently use this to enable an AV receiver to power on/off a TV, though not all TVs work with it. You need a TV that has "latching" power. If the TV is powered on and the power goes out, it must return to the "on" state when the power comes back on. That's latching power. If it does, you can then use this to turn it on and off with an AV receiver, or other devices. If however, the TV reverts to an "off" state, after losing power, requiring you to touch the TV's power button to turn it on, it won't work.
