Simple to install and works great!
Added the filter so we now have filtered water at the kitchen sink. We now enjoy having both instant hot and cold filtered water. Easy to install and all the required parts are included.

Hot water at all times. No more refilling required.
The media could not be loaded. Love having instant hot water. It’s a game changer. Also attached a filter to the water supply before it reaches the water heater. The water flow is good enough for filling mugs but it’s definitely slower than the faucet. There is a little noise when it is actively heating but it’s also under the sink in the cabinet so it’s barely noticeable. The only issue I have is when using the hot water, you have to turn it on and let it flow into the sink first to let it “burp”. It shoots a stream of water and air at higher than normal pressure. If you turn it on directly into a mug it will make a big splash. It only takes a second for it to “burp” so it’s not a huge inconvenience but sometimes you forget. You don’t have this issue when running the cold water. You have to hold the hot water down to keep it running, the cold water you can leave it on. Nice safety feature.

Great dual dispenser unit
I've had a hot water dispenser at my sink for years. Just know that every handful of years you'll have to replace it. This is my third unit in 15 years or so, but YMMV. This particular model seems to be built very well, the faucet feels nice and nothing has leaked in the first few months of usage. The black matched the black of my sink, and was not too shiny. I would also recommend the dual dispenser model, so you can get both hot water and tap water from the faucet. I installed a water filter in front of this faucet so it is used for filtered hot and cold water.

Nice, easy to install
Nice unit. Easy to install. The only thing we didn't like is the relatively short overhang over the sink. Some containers the not as easy to fill as with the original, cold-water only faucet.

This is a MUST have
This is my first Instahot. A kitchen designer suggested installing one with my kitchen renovation to elevate my kitchen. I bought this hot & cold one so I can easily & quickly fill my 40 oz. water bottle with cold water. I also bought the inline filter for filtered water. I can use the in-door refrigerator water dispenser for this purpose but my 40 oz tumbler doesn't fit & it takes forever to fill it. So the cold, filtered tap is wonderful. Having intant hot water for tea or baking is a time-saving feature too! You can adjust how hot you want the water to be. Just be aware that the little heater under the sink does cycle on/off regularly to keep the water hot. I was not aware of this before I installed it. I bought this as a "Use-Like New" and saved a lot of money on it. When I received it, it appeared brand new.

We absolutely love the convenience of having purified and instant hot water right on the countertop. Installed in less than 30 minutes.

Uncommon Troubleshooting – Resolved Independently
Summary goes #3.1. The installation was quite easy for us, as we frequently set up our RO system. The biggest challenge was the very cramped space under our sink, making it difficult to maneuver while fitting the new unit alongside the water tank. The manual only mentioned troubleshooting for unplugging and outlet issues, which was frustrating because we had already tested all outlets. However, once we gained some space and organized everything, the installation didn’t take long. The real issue arose when we waited for hot water—it didn’t heat up even after setting the dial to max and taking a brief walk, leading us to search for troubleshooting tips in the manual.2. The following morning, my husband was becoming increasingly frustrated with this device, prompting me to consider returning the unit. A quick Google search suggested we reset the thermometer inside the unit. While opening the unit was straightforward, I was cautious about damaging the tightly packed Styrofoam, which can break easily. Upon checking, we discovered the dial was misaligned; it wasn’t correctly meshing due to its D shape, not O. Although we thought we had turned it to max, it was actually spinning freely without engaging properly, which was frustrating. If there had been mentions of this issue in the instruction manual or reviews, it could have saved us from reworking the confined space.3. In summary, if you’ve plugged in correctly and the outlet is functioning but the water isn’t warming, check the dial inside the unit. After this, it should be working perfectly fine.4. The advice about resetting the thermometer didn’t seem relevant to this device.5. The only downside is that the faucet is quite short—only about half the length of our previous one. Aside from that, there are no significant drawbacks, though there is a slight delay when switching off the hot water, which becomes manageable over time.
