Brilliant design
As we only have a sink in the kitchen with no drainer section we needed a dish drainer that could sit on the worktop and drain in to the sink, came in one piece, wouldnt rust, AND look good. This drainer fitted the bill and very pleased with it. Not least because it doesnt look like the conventional dish drainers. Really love the design (someone thought outside the box). The unit is plenty big enough for our needs ie average 2-4 person wash up - cups, plates, cuttlery, chopping board, pan etc etc.... The cups etc go in the middle, the plates etc round the edges, and the cuttlery in the section at the back. Never had a plate fall out yet and if you get creative about stacking you'd be surprised what you can stack on it. For a larger family you might struggle to get everything on, but the same could be said about every other dish drainer I've ever seen!! Can be expensive as price seems to vary quite a lot both in shops and online, but happy with what I paid for it.

Very pleased
I had been looking for a decent drainer for a while and saw this at a friends house although not in this colour, I found this on the website and it fits in with my colour scheme more than any others. I agree with some other comments, it is a little small, I would have liked the option to buy a larger one. I have dishwasher so it's only used for the odd pan and glass that I can't put in the machine. Nevertheless I think it's a great design and it works fairly well. Again another comment was that water stays in the bottom, I agree with that, you have to tip it up to properly drain it occasionally and my very hard water has marked it already. I'm still pleased I bought it, it looks good on my worktop.

Lovely green colour & a bargain at the reduced price!
Bought this as needed a new one & this design looked good & the colour is just one of our favourites! I must say that the water doesn't drain away as much as it says it does, so that's a bit naughty.....cleaning it is quite easy, i use an old toothbrush & Cif spray & it's as good as new. You have to find your own way of stacking your washing up on it though as it is compact! It sits well on the draining board & still leaves room for extra mugs etc down the side....it will do until we put in our new kitchen & re-jig it is get our dishwasher fitted in which is currently having a rest in the garage lolPlastic is far better that anything chrome as chrome (in kitchens & bathrooms) ALWAYS rusts, eventually.

... in a friend's kitchen and thought it looked really good so bought my own
Spotted one of these in a friend's kitchen and thought it looked really good so bought my own. Unfortuntely, although it does look nice, it doesn't score highly on practicality. You can't fit a lot on and it's difficult to stack stuff. Also it doesn't drain very effectively so tends to get deposits of yucky limescale and soap scum stuck in the ridges. It's not particularly easy to clean by hand (although it can go in the dishwasher). If you're interested in aesthetics alone then go ahead but otherwise I'd say choose something more practical.

Poor design
After using this for quite a while now I have to say I can't recommend it.While it looks good, it is quite useless in daily use if you have anything more than a few items to put on it.It's main faults are:- The cutlery sections are too shallow and items fall over or slip out of the drainage areas.- It cannot hold 4 normal sized upright, 3 is OK, but the 4th plate ends up in the rubber section that is just to shallow to support it.- The area for glasses and cups is tiny and there is much space wasted at the sides that can support nothing at all.I will be looking for something to replace this ASAP.

It's pretty good
My new kitchen has wooden surfaces and I want to prolong the life of them for as long as I can. Sitting water or drainage grooves would just help reduce it's life. This little beauty prevents that from happening. There always seems to be space to dry the non-dishwasher objects, including my massive frying pan. The water happily drains into the sink. It sits slightly off the surface, so no water gets trapped underneath and you can remove it if you feel the need to free up more work top space. Cheaper than having drainage grooves made into your surface and keeps your work top options open. Fab.

Next step in dish drainers
The Joseph x 2 Dish Drainer looks like no other dish rack; replacing metal hoops with soft silicone ribs that provide support even for my largest plates. The ribs are designed to allow water drain away and rather than have it pool in the drainer there are feet that put it on a slight incline to let drain into your sink. That does force you to put it next to your sink; but where else would you keep your drainer? There are three sections; a shallow area for cups to rest on; deeper ribs for plates and bowls and finally 4 zones for cutlery. Its very simple to clean using water and a bit of detergent but the sloping design prevents water from pooling up in the first place also having no metal hoops it isn't going to rust or have rust stains. I haven;t had it long enough to comment on longevity but it seems resilient so far.The Joseph Joseph dish drainer doesn't use a lot of space in your kitchen and even in grey looks quite good.

Very happy!
I wash most things in the dishwasher but wanted a nice looking dish drainer that wouldn't spoil the look of the kitchen for those odd bits and pieces that require hand washing. I'm so pleased with this - it looks good and the rubber sections do a great job of holding various shaped items without any slippage. I'd like there to be one or two small drainage holes towards the back, since not every drop of water drains away as some other customers have stated - however, this may just be due to the shape of my sink and, in any case, I like it so much that I don't even mind having to pour away stray droplets of water now and again. I have loads of other Joseph Joseph kitchen accessories in lime green and it's a fab addition. I probably wouldn't have paid the full price just for a draining board so was delighted it was on offer.

Sehr praktisch

Two sizes please.
I really like this product but would appreciate a larger size. This size is ideal for two or three people but not for all the saucepans after a meal as well.Works well and looks nice in kitchen.
