Collectible Optimus Prime
My grandson collects Optimus Prime action figures. This was a gift for his Birthday and he was soooo excited to get it!! It’s a very nice action figure.

Not worth the money
My 6 year old son ordered this knowing that it was not a trademarked transformer but was willing to give it a go. He has many transformer toys and has been frustrated by some with the complex transformation but after watching the video included in the description of this toy, felt confident enough to give it a whirl. We watched the YouTube video to transform it from bot to truck and about 6 steps in, realized a small but crucial hinge was broken. Even with the helpful video, the components were flimsy and did not fit together well. Will be returning.

Great details and movement
The media could not be loaded. Exceeded my expectations!! I am very impressed with the quality. I like the size, details and its not flimsy. The instructions are ok but I would watch the YouTube video to learn how to transform it though.

It's fine as long as you know what you're getting
I knew going in this is NOT an official Hasbro/Takara Transformer. I needed a smaller non-masterpiece, non-leader class sized Prime for a project I wanted to do at home with something someone gave me (see pic). I needed just the cab, no trailer - this did fine for the price. You have to know the instructions are in fact terrible and this is NOT for a child, you will only frustrate him/her. If you are a seasoned TF buyer you will kind of know what to do because they do leave out key parts of the transformation, you have to kind of just match the next step's picture to what you are doing. The top portion above his chest rotating 180° really should be more clearer and I think this is where ppl can get tripped up, particularly bc there are pieces in the way you have to clear for it to go smooth. The build quality honestly for a release like this is perfectly fine for the price. Colors, fine. I was worried when I got the box they sent the wrong one bc it was a box that said "dark Commander" with a shadowy Prime with blueish eyes - I thought they sent the Nemesis Prime version. Luckily it was Optimus but take a look at those instructions. It was crinkled and shoved to the bottom of the box. Yeesh.It's serving it's purpose and will likely NEVER be transformed back to bot mode again (and yes I added that Autobot decal, it does not come with one nor should you expect it). This is the definition of it is what it is. If you're expecting an official TF with good instructions, and fun playability, pony up the $40+ bucks for an official.I rated it a 3 for giftability bc - don't frustrate a loved one. But an official as a gift. This is only for us who've been collecting for years and needs something for a creative purpose.

Very cool but not for young children
Not ideal for young children. I ended playing with it for hours to get it to transform from robot to truck. Pieces were broken…

Absolutely perfect
It’s always a hit or miss with the KO transformers but mine was just perfect in every way. All the joints are tight with the exception of a really really small one. If you’re skeptical about if you’re buying the right one, I assure you mine came in with the exact thing they were advertising. Love it
