I wanted this to check tire wear across the tires on my C7 Corvette as it is set up with a large amount of negative camber for track use and I wanted to monitor tire wear on the road tires in millimeters. Nice and simple, no batteries, perfect!UP DATE: I have now had it for 2 years and it has also been really useful for setting camber on my track tires. The Michelin Cup 2 ZP has a very odd tread pattern and this little tool is brilliant for monitoring and predicting tread wear from inside to outside.If you track your car buy one!

I use the tool everyday at work. Compared to the other tread gages on the market it won't give you bad readings. The other gages I have used was a waste of money.

Numbers way too small to read..product itself very small easy to lose...not practical for everyday use in a shop..

All the recorded tred depths from gauge is accurate and easy to find...
