East to setup, look great!
So far so good. These were easy to setup with our Alexa, just plug them in, open the Alexa app, and add a new device. Alexa saw them immediately, and asked if I had the qcode, which the OREIN has stamped on both the bulb and in the instructions on a sticker. Scan the qcode, and the bulb is setup automatically. Alexa then just asked what group should the new device belong to. All done! They look nice, and they are brighter than our old Sengled lights, that suddenly all died for some mysteerious reason. One thing I will mention, if you have Alexa, you do not need to install any other app besides Alexa to run these lights. They do runs with other systems, like Smart Home, and if you have other apps on your phone, be careful the lights don't pair up with one of the other apps. One of these lights paired with Samsung Home inadvertently, and then wouldn't pair with Alexa. Just had to restart it to connect it with Alexa. Overall, they work great and were easy to setup. I hope they don't get bricked by a software update like the Sengled lights did. Time will tell.

Home Assistant Matter = Yes. Easy setup!
So far, working great with Home Assistant and the Matter instance. I'm running HA locally on a Raspi4.Setup...is super easy.Use a phone or Tablet with a camera and the HA Companion app. Make sure you're connected to 2.4ghz Wifi!Go to settings - Devices and Services - Device tab - Add DeviceSelect Add Matter Device.Select No, it's new (if you haven't connected to another Matter app.Use the camera to scan QR Code on device you're adding.Should take less than 2mins. You're done!If you connect to something like Smart Life of Google Home first, instead of selecting "No, it's new"...and select "Yes, it's already in use. Then, get the share code from the first app you connected too and use that code to add to HA.Easy as pie! Working good so far. Replacing Tuya Cloud devices because....well, they are cloud. And...they often drop off the network. Really hoping they are better on Matter. To make life easier, once the new device is added, reserve the IP by Mac Address in your router...so it will have the same IP every time...if you lose power or need to unplug from wall.

This is the smart light bulb to get
I’ve tried many smart light bulbs. They are either difficult to get setup, the connection drops off and need it reset and setup all over again, or there’s some hardware needed to act as a gateway to share controls with other family members or program a schedule. This smart light bulb takes all that pain away by being easy to setup, the connection maintains even if the power goes out or the light switch gets toggled on or off. And you can share the light controls with other users while being able to program a schedule. The aidot app is easy to use too.

Lights do not sync colors when grouped together
I bought these light bulbs because of their Matter compatibility, even though every device we have at home is from Apple and I could have gone with something for Homekit, I wanted to try these ones out.I bought 16 of these light bulbs to put in different rooms of my house and plan to replace all my lights with smart bulbs very soon.Setup was very easy using the Home app on my iPhone 14 Pro Max, but right after setup I noticed some problems with the color selection and grouping of the lightsFirst problem:when trying to change the color of an individual light, I noticed that if you select one of the 6 basic color choices offered in the app below the light switch, the actual color of the bulb may change but the color of the button on the app does not update. Sometimes, I have to click it again for it to updateBut even more annoying than this is the problem I encountered when I grouped some of the lights togetherAfter creating a group with 4 lights in my dining area, if I try to change the color of the four lights at the same time, only THREE out of the four will change. And the one that does not change will be a different bulb every single time!!I thought it could be some crazy electrical problem so I took the 4 lights and put them in the living room where we have three ceiling lamps. This time I created a group for the living room and when trying to change the color for all of them at once, only TWO would respond accordingly.Because I had numbered the bulbs I thought the fourth bulb was defective. No problem, I said to myself, I still had two more boxes with brand-new light bulbs. I then replaced one in the living room with the remaining one from the dining room, and the same issue still occurred.I used one of the new, unused bulbs from one of the boxes and guess what? SAME PROBLEMI moved ALL the light bulbs to my office which uses four lights: the exact SAME issue happened regardless of the combination of bulbs used.I then brought all the lights back and created a group for all 7 lights in the dining and living areas. First sync, and only 5 synced. Second attempt and all of them synced the same color. In conclusion: these lights do not work as expected when they are grouped together. For some reason, one of the lights in a group will always fail to sync when changing the color for the group.Hopefully this will be fixed via some future firmware update. The lights are nice, but if you need them to work coherently as a group, they will be hit or missEDIT: I installed one more bulb in a hallway and after only 2 days of use, it completely burned out. The normal bulb which was there before had worked for 2 years without needing to be replaced. I will stay away from these lights for the foreseeable future

Much better than “Meross” light bulbs.
These lights work flawlessly, and the colors are good. The lights that I had before (Meross) were having issues with my iOS (Apple iPhone) and not displaying correctly, these Orien bulbs work beautifully and they couple well with my iOS.Easy to set up without any issues.

Amazing Smart Lights!
I got these lights for my room to change the color of the lights and remotely control them. I was able to add them to Apple Home and use my Apple TV as a home hub to easily control the lights.

Great Smart Lights – Easy Setup and Perfect App Integration!
I’m really happy with these smart lights! They work flawlessly and respond quickly to commands. The connection with the app was seamless, super easy to set up and control everything from my phone. The scheduling and color options are great too. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their home lighting!
