Support isn't fantastic but this can be worn a long time!
The wife dictated this to me. Her opinion on this is much more meaningful that mine ;-) She says:First off, I followed this company's own measuring calculator and the size it recommended was a way larger number than what my other bras are -- 4 to 6 inches larger. But since other reviewers said they come small and order a much larger size, the calculator's recommendation made sense. Even this much larger size turned out to be just a little tight. Maybe not enough to go to the next bigger size though. So use the Glamorise size calculator (or instructions) on their site -- and they measure *above* the breasts, just at the armpits really, instead of the usual beneath the breasts method so that's why the higher number. As for the support, well I get "side boob" when laying down which is not typical of a fit bra. And even standing up, it lets them sort of point away from each other (like anti-cleavage). They are held up from sagging and it keeps them pretty firmly in place, but this is definitely not a bra for outside the house. In fact, it is more comfortable worn inside out so the seams are on the outside of the bra, but wearing anything lighter than a sweater would show really show some weird bra seams. But, here is the good news: this bra can actually be worn for several days in a row staying on 24/7 and it stays comfortable. I found this out right after having surgery (no, not *that* surgery, this was shoulder surgery) that kept me from putting my elbows behind me so no bras with hooks in the back. I wound up having to stay in the same bra with the same shirt around the clock for what seemed like forever. But this bra remained comfortable the whole time. In fact, the extra wide straps distributed the "weight" over a much larger area.Be aware there are lots more hooks than usual. I'm used to two or three hooks, but this one has 6 hooks! I suppose bustier gals are used that but I wasn't. But since this bra will supposedly also fit up to a "D" maybe that's why there are so many hooks. So if you need a bra that you can wear comfortably for a long time, just for around the house, then this is the perfect bra. Just be sure to use the Glamorise bra measurement method.

The best bra I have found in 50 years!
I know people are different but for me, and my size and lifestyle, this bra is the best ever. Some keys/tips that I have found are: 1. take advantage of the offered large cup sizes. It is very, very hard to find a bra that provides support but is also comfortable. The combo of fabrics and the construction of this bra makes it great for everyday wear. I measure 38 inches but have gotten into the habit of ordering or buying 40DD out of convenience. It usually doesn't matter but in this case, the larger band size does chafe a bit over time, whereas the smaller one does not. These do run small, though, and rely on stretch to provide balanced and adequate support even for me. The 38 G/H is perfectly well fitted, although I do rotate bras, which works for me best for many reasons too. 2. Make it a "step in" bra rather than trying to "lock and load" every time. I have never unhooked most of the bras of this type that I have (I have bought 5 or 6 over the past several years). This might be TMI but some people understand. 3. Pay careful attention to laundering instructions and do NOT dry in the dryer. All of the ones I have are still in good shape in spite of being worn as my main bra type for years now, but I am careful to launder gently and hang to dry.

these run really small (updated 6/29/12)
I had read some reviews saying that this bra ran small and so I ordered TWO band AND cup sizes UP and it was still too small! Definitely along the lines of a sports bra squish effect. The sides do come up high. Glamorise is one the best brands for bras, so I'm very surprised with this one. The front close idea appealed to me, but look carefully, there are 7 (yes, seven) clasps to do up. What a pain. I think if I had ordered 3 sizes up it might be ok. I won't return it as I'm losing weight, so it might fit better down the road. Will update review at that time. If you want a bra that doesn't let you jiggle at all without it being a minimizer and/or without wires, this would be good.UPDATE: After very recent gallbladder surgery that left me with a highly tender incision site, I found I couldn't wear any of my regular bras. I had ordered this one hoping I might be able to tolerate it. Initially, because it was so tight, I couldn't tolerate this one either. As I slowly healed, I kept trying the bra. Due to its elastic nature I was able to adjust this for comfort more than the others. After about two weeks, much to my amazement, I found the bra had lost its initial snugness and was in fact VERY comfortable! 5 weeks after surgery and this is still the only bra I can tolerate. The number of clasps in the front turned out to be a bonus as well, because I could choose to leave the bottom clasps undone, adding to the comfort level. I am still of the opinion that it runs too snug and I'm glad I ordered up.Take the time to break the bra in! All bras have a break-in period (in my opinion), and this one is no different. I'm actually quite happy with it now.
