Got these for a mower start switch but have used them everywhere. Even the garage door button.

I really like these switches. I am using them to control uncoupler tracks on a model railroad. The pushbuttons I first put in stuck up and were really easy to push, so if anything was set on them or fell on them, they would activate, and I burned up a couple of the uncouplers as a result. Getting them out of the layout was not easy. These new switches are guarded by the surrounding ring and do not activate until they are recessed, so that accidental activation is no longer a problem. They are also a lot more attractive. I like the screw clamp terminals, too; the other ones had to be soldered, and these are much more convenient.What, pray tell, does 'Sheerness' mean? That was one of the rating categories.

7/8 worked perfectly, 1 of them is kind of sticky. Still a great price and I only needed 3 anyway. If you need all eight I would suggest getting 2 packs.

The buttons work as expected, nice feel. No problem with accidental push (springy enough to prevent that). I like the fact that they have screw terminals, because I read a number of reviews complaining about soldering irons damaging cheap push buttons like these - problem avoided! Good size, just a bit larger than the tip of my finger. Mine will be for indoor use, so these are probably overkill, but cheap enough :)

Love these buttons! I bought them as I needed a button for a project I was working on, and though these would work. They fit in perfect, and they feeling and click them make when you push them is very satisfying and actually feels like you're pushing them.

Just what I needed for a horn button on the boat. Looks like it was made well. Haven't had any problems. Easy to install and looks great in the dash

I live in a condo and have an outdoor buzzer/speaker system. The original button would corrode constantly and stop working. I found this switch and it fit perfectly. Was easy to connect and is weather sealed and so far works perfect. Best part is the all black (no chrome ring) color blends perfect and passes condo police from noticing !! Plus cheap and extras I can help my neighbors fix theirs too
