So Far So Good
My husband's review of these snowshoes. So far so good. Have not used in deep powder yet but like the shoes so far.Pros: - easy on/off - great traction when on ice/crusty snow - maneuverability in woods/brushToo early to tell: - durability (seem like they will last and they survived a long icy trek) - deep powder - they are supposed to hold up to 240 lbs. I'm 190 and it seems like they may sink too deep in powdery snow. Haven't had those conditions yet so can't be sure.Bottom line, I like them better than my last pair and they seem like they will last longer.

Love these! I snowshoe in the backcountry every day ...
Love these! I snowshoe in the backcountry every day in the winter, but I refuse to pay high prices for snowshoes. I've tried many different kinds. The ones with a metal frame and a ratcheting closure never last long. Once any part of the plastic strap breaks, they are a lost cause. These have been great so far this winter. They have stayed intact, fit snugly, are easy to put on and remove, and I just plain like the style of straps on these better. They are nylon so won't break like the plastic ones. I think I'll get more than one season out of them, and the only ones that I've been able to say that about before were some really ugly utilitarian paramilitary snowshoes.

Ok but need improvement
Binding on the snowshoes I received the binding rubbed on the snowshoe itself when you walked which at times didn't allow the snowshoe to fall back. Not sure if it was just a defect on the set I received. The snowshoe itself is great for a beginner the binding system is fairly easy to use the back strap that goes around the heel of your boot is a fairly hard plastic so not sure how long it may last with use. Walked about 3 miles in them and the foot didn't shift in the binding and did hold the foot in place which was nice. These were for my boyfriend who only goes occasionally but we did wind up returning them he wears a size 11 1/2 boot and even when we tried his hikers the binding still didn't correct to lay tight against the shoe to prevent it from rubbing.

Good Value but Not a Great Snoeshoe
Hard to beat for the price. However, the design and materials need some improvement (not to mention that gawd-awful color):- the back strap is difficult to secure when using the shoe, mainly caused by the cheesy, quasi-locking buckle they used.- the heel-incline bar works but it is so tight, it can't be deployed or lowered without major effort (I have to kneel down -in the snow- rather than being able to use my pole, which is the norm).- the front straps are too long, even when I'm wearing my bulkiest boot. And the way to secure the straps' extra length is ineffective, which presents a trip hazard.- a user manual or instructions are not included, so beginners may struggle to figure everything out.- did I mention the flourescent lime-green color scheme is hideous? My camo paint job is holding up well, so far!

Great value
They are a little awkward to get on and off. One of my poles wonโt lock into position but overall I had fun with them and would recommend them.

Nicer then others at comparable price.
These are comparable in price to Costco version but much nicer. Grip and fit is excellent. Sink some but still easier then walking through snow. Easy(ish) to put on and take off.

Great quality
Practiced some in the grass today. These are for a bigger foot than mine but with straps all tightened as far as possible they will work for trekking around my yard for exercise. Quality seems great to me and I can practice on the grass until the song comes.

Get the job done and will last for ever!!
The snowshoes worked great, very firm, the side traction and the hill lifts are a bit plus that worked great summiting their first 11,000 ft mountain. I love the neon colors, so that was another plus for me.
