Great unit, and great customer service!
The media could not be loaded. I bought two. They feel solid, look good, smell good, they don't really taste like anything, but one of them sounds annoying... that's right, I'm getting a 15 khz sound straight from the center of one of these items. It's like a mini speaker that only puts out one specific tone deafening sound, 15khz. Seriously, search "Hearing test - how old are you" on You Tube. You'll hear what I'm hearing. The included video will allow you to hear a fraction of the sharpness of what I'm hearing. I'll be returning the one for a replacement. updates to come.Update 4-30-15I received an email stating that they were sending another one right away. Now that's customer service! I've worked in customer service for 7 years now, and I know receiving attention in such a short amount of time is top notch service, and is appreciated by consumers. I surely appreciated it! And I understand about faulty components, not every electric piece, capacitor, etc etc.., will speak out loud and says "hey, this is what's faulty with me, and this is what I'll do" so I know not all of the 'rebellious' units will be caught.Oh, and the other one I bought works great. It charged my Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 from 30% to 95%, with a remaining 50% (probably a little more) on the battery pack itself. I knew I'd get a little more than two charges from it!

A Company You Can Trust!
This review is about both the Product but mostly the Company!1. The product: I purchased the RealPower AirX in October of 2014 so our family would have backup power during a vacation to a rural part of Oregon. Initially the unit functioned as expected during our trip, but after returning home I noticed that on occasion it didn't fully charge my iPhone 5. The AirX would start charging, and then later... randomly... shut off. By pushing the "on" button, the charge would resume, but for an undetermined length of time. I could achieve a full charge on the iPhone 5 if I monitored the charge, and kept turning on the device. So, in that regard it served its purpose.I brought this to the attention of RealPower USA customer service, and received a very quick response. "Have you tried another cable," was the question, to which I responded... something on the order of " I'm not sure," where upon I decided to take a more scientific approach by testing the unit and my iPhone using Apple, Belkin, and the original cables supplied with the unit. Mind you, because I could make the unit charge the phone, even if not completely, I wasn't writing the company daily, and actually only contacted customer service twice over a seven-month period. The last time I emailed was on Easter Sunday 2015 -- two days ago!. I reported to RealPower that it didn't seem to matter which cable I used, the results were the same... random correct operation, with partial functionality on other occasions. The last test of the unit produced a notice on the iPhone 5's "Lock Screen," that said "your device may not be operating properly." This brings me to the Company, RealPower USA...2. The Company, RealPower USA, and Martin Fouracre, presumably the owner, treated me the way I would treat my own customers! Martin, and RealPower were amazing. Repeat... A M A Z I N G !!!I emailed them last on Sunday, April 5th, 2015, nearly four months after my last email inquiry. I told them I'd been using the unit manually during the ensuring period, and now believed the unit to be defective. Within several hours I received confirmation that RealPower USA had Express Shipped a brand-new unit, and I should be receiving it within a couple of days. NOTE: This was Easter Sunday! I din't expect a response on a Holiday. Well, I'm writing this today after receiving and testing my new replacement unit. RealPower USA simply told me they wanted me to be 100% satisfied with my purchase and satisfaction with the company. They didn't even ask me to return the old unit... after seven months... Wow! What else can I say. Would I do business with RealPower USA again? In a split second -- YES!To Summarize: (for those of you who don't like the lengthy, drawn-out verbiage)October 2014: Purchased Unit. It initially worked, but within a month or so, it was not automatically fully charging my iPhone 5.February 3, 2015: I emailed RealPower USA and related the intermittent operation. They immediately emailed and asked me to check the cables and see if I could try the original cable.April 5, 2015 I emailed and said operation was intermittent, although I could make it work manually, but not fully charging my phone.April 7, 2015 I've received a new unit, charged my phone, and now posting this SIX out of FIVE STAR review. RealPower USA Express Mailed me a Brand New Unit, and didn't even ask for the old one back.* * * * * * * * * * *I've had good customer service from other companies before, BUT RealPower USA's brand of Customer Service now Tops My List of Companies to Trust! And, no... I'm not related to, nor do I have any company stock, etc. They're just a great company, and if they tell you 100% Satisfaction, then believe them, at least that's my story... AND, I really don't like writing reviews.... often!

Huge letdown
I needed a new portable phone charger for a job coming up and ordered this battery pack for same day delivery. I was really excited when I saw its storage capacity and that it had a 2.1 amp output. But after a few days of use it was clear it was not made well/defective- the 2amp output charged my phone (Samsung galaxy s4) 2-3x times slower than my 1amp charger. Additionally the charger could barely get my phone to 100% before dying. This charger did not nearly meet my needs and I had to return it.

I ordered a black one and got a blue one ...
I ordered a black one and got a blue one. I ordered a blue one as well so perhaps they figured I wanted 2 of the same color, I'm not sure. They do what they are supposed to do and charges the school issued ipads when our children failed to charge them. As well as charge their tablets which they use while on the bus for 2 hours a day.

It has a smooth metallic finish and is ultra thin but feels solid and very sturdy. Great build quality
While I don't give my Iphone 6 a heavy workout as others might, I'm always concerned about having enough power left when i do need to use it. This device gives me that peace of mind. At 10,000 mAh, I know I've got plenty of back up power if needed. So far I've fully charged my Iphone twice and still had power left to use. Three charging ports for multiple devices. It has a smooth metallic finish and is ultra thin but feels solid and very sturdy. Great build quality, I also like the cool looking blue LED lights/power indicators, as well as the built in flashlight. It does have a little weight to it, which is to be expected given the power it packs, but I don't consider that a hindrance at all. It fits nicely in any bag, purse or backpack and I've even placed it in my shirt pocket for a short time and had no issues. I also like that it comes with a USB cable as well as adapters for other devices. If you're like me and don't want to worry about your phone running out of power while you're out and about, then i highly recommend this device.

The device worked for about 10 days. Now it ...
The device worked for about 10 days. Now it does not indicate charge past 25%.The LED will turn on accidentally when the device is in a bag with other electronics, discharging it entirely. This is a poorly designed product that stopped working after 10 days.
