Easy install and fixed my problem of switching air temp. Fits 1999 Jeep Wrangler perfectly. My blend door actuator quit working after I replaced the blower motor and resistor. I thought the problem was the actuator, but it was my control panel. Great quality for the money.

I purchased this because we were having issues with the air flow/direction in our 2004 Jeep TJ. I had already replaced the gate that directs the air, but that didn’t solve my problem. After checking everything else, I decided that the only thing left was the Climate Control module. This one was cheaper, by A LOT, as opposed the the factory unit. It’s an easy install, just use caution when removing the dash panel. They aren’t cheap either! When I ordered it, I made certain that it was for a 2004 because the vacuum lines are longer on the 2002-2006 models. When I began the installation I immediately noticed that the lines were way too short. I went ahead with the installation hoping that my lines were still in good condition. Fortunately they were, and now mu TJ puts the air where I need it….defrost, floor, dash, wherever I turn the knob, that’s where the air goes. I noticed when I pulled the original out that it had a rattle to it. I disassembled it and discovered that it had a broken piece inside it. Problem found and solved! I gave this unit 4 stars simply because the website said that it fit the 2004 model and it didn’t. That being said, I would definitely buy this again because removing the lines from the back isn’t too difficult, just tedious.

This was an exact replacement for the climate control panel in my 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Worked great once one of the plugs was replaced on the wiring harness.

Really good aftermarket HVAC controller. Perfect fit and easy to install. If you can’t find an OEM NOS, this is a great aftermarket option.

First I’d like to say the unit it’s self works great! Good quality. However the vac hose kit that came with the unit is too short. In my 2002, the connection is made further behind the glove box, preventing the part from being usable. Luckily, the original vac lines haven’t failed and I don’t need the new ones (yet). I would have like to have been able to replace them, seeing as I paid for them. This is the only reason for the three stars.
