Performance Wristies Finger Free Gloves, Medium, Black

I have also owned multiple pairs of the "practice" gloves, which I use all winter around the house to keep my hands warm. So I figured I'd try these new "performance" gloves as well.The "performance" gloves are just as warm, and nicer looking. While the "practice" gloves are slightly wooly inside & out, the "performance" gloves are smooth outside and wooly inside. Plus the edges of the "performance" gloves are finished.The "performance" gloves are somewhat different sized. For the "practice" gloves, I'm just on the border between small and medium. Small fits better, but the thumb hole is too small so I often clip it slightly on my right (dominant) hand. I bought medium on the "performance" gloves. The thumb holes are just the right size. The arms are snug--any narrower would be too small. But the hole for the fingers is too big; the gloves are loose across the palm. This is a little annoying--although not annoying enough to return them.I think that the manufacturer is still fiddling to get the design right. At the moment, be warned: the proportions on the "performance" gloves are different, and somewhat less functional, from those on the "practice" gloves.

These were purchased for a musician to wear so he could play guitar in below zero weather for Superbowl event in MN. They did NOT keep the hands warm- too thin. I imagine they would work fine in a chilly indoor space so will give them that.

The product is fantastic especially for players of stringed instruments.I had to return these only due to a size issue. If your hand measures across the palm a 7 go with the small. I had to do a size exchange. The company was quick, courteous in the exchange and it is a wonderful product.You can see in the attached images how loose the medium is on me.
