My DRs both GP and Cardiologist told me that since I have heart issues they are NOT safe for me.I cannot take them. It says they are gauranteed. WRONG. You cannot get a refund from here or the manufacturer. I am out a lots of money. Very upset.

I have been a user of Dr. Emil supplements for some time now. I recently read about how great it is to keep spermidine levels high as I age and it was great to see Dr. Emil offered this supplement. I take with my Collagen Pills supplement each day and feel great. It's hard to notice immediate results considering the point of this product is to keep aging away. But, based on my research about Spermidine, I will keep this going.

I haven't noticed any negative side effects, and I hope it gives me at least a little health boost, long-term.It's hard for me to swallow capsules with water, but if I take them with something carbonated or with warm tea, it makes it a lot easier. If these have a flavor, taking them the way I do masks it. There's a faint scent in the bottle, but none outside it as far as I can tell.The bottle came with plastic wrapped around the outside of the lid, and a tamper seal on the inside too.The one I got in August 2023 expires in December 2024.

This Spermidine supplement outwardly appears to be a great supplement and you probably will have benefits. But this contains Hypromellose, a semisynthetic inert, viscoelastic polymer. This is an unnatural substance they say is safe but may have some minor side effects and a few years down the road it could be found out that it was not safe. Also, the third-party testing label is not on the bottle and don't think this will pass NSF certification. It's not natural and I would rather take something else preferably.All the usable ingredients can fit in a fraction of 1 capsule. I don't think I would take this long term.

I've been taking this for about two weeks now. No real change noticed at this point (positive or negative). I'm an active 50 something and work out regularly to stay fit. I'm pretty self aware when it comes to my body, so I will update if I notice any changes. The pills are large but are easy to take if that makes any sense. A quick online search will give you plenty of reasons to take this supplement. This is based on some pretty solid government related research that indicates that Spermidine has a positive effect on aging and age related illnesses as well as improved cognitive function. So pretty spendy for a 1 month supply but I may go ahead and try for 1 more month just to see if I notice anything based on the research out there.Update 11/1/2023:I've used this product now for two months and just ordered my third month supply. Just subtle changes so far that I'm not sure I can attribute to this but I have noticed an increase in mental acuity or cognitive ability, a little less mental fog (nothing measurable). I also had some lingering back and shoulder pain that didn't want to go away both of which have improved after starting this supplement. I did have a complete metabolic panel done and didn't notice any huge swings from previous test results (everything was pretty much the same except my cholesterol went up....). So I'm sticking with my original headline and will continue this product mainly since I have seen some improvements over time.Update 4/25: I am changing my review to five stars, why? I have been taking this supplement steadily for about 18 months now. I went off and then back on and noticed that my cognition was affected, it was subtle, more of a mental fog kind of thing, but noticeable. Also in the past year I have been dealing with sciatica pain, after numerous PT visits and a steroid injection it is to the point of being manageable with some days that I experience no pain. Recently I went off of Dr. Emil’s supplement to try another Spermidine supplement that was a stronger dose and less expensive but lacked the Thiamine and Zinc augments, over the course of about three weeks I noticed that my joints where much achier to the point where I would hobble after getting up in the morning and throughout the day, also my sciatica would flair up more. After some research I found that spermidine supplements with these two additions are considered high quality and the thiamine has anti inflammatory properties…..ah ha! Not going to make that mistake again. As far as the other regenerative benefits I haven’t noticed, but definitely notice the lack of stiffness, sciatica pain and cognition improvements, making this product well worth the price and upgraded to 5 stars. Note it took a while for me to notice these improvements so this is a long term commitment with subtle changes that only became evident after I went off of it. Hope it works for you!

DR EMIL NUTRITION SpermidineSpermidine supplementation can possibly help one age more gracefully.If you have not already, check the various pictures for the product they do a good job explaining why you might be interested in taking this supplement.I have not noticed any significant benefit, but I am not the best at noticing subtle changes within myself, and I just started taking it. I am certain one needs to take it regularly for some time to be able to notice the benefits.I prefer to stay as healthy and youthful as possible, and if it can deliver on it's purported benefits I'd rate this at 4 stars!The photos on Amazon, provided by the seller, do far more justice to the product than any I could add, be certain to check them out.Explaining my rating system:5 - a superior product - I would recommend4 - above average – a great choice3 - average – what one might generally expect2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative1- Horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible
