Great view of Midway from the pilots view. There is so much out there from the strategic view, nice to see a more human point of view.

A factually based story of the role of SBD, dive bombers, in the Pacific in WW2. Not exciting but a good quick read about interesting times and places.

AND COMBAT ON AN AIRCRAFTCARRIER. Would like a movie made of this!! I really became friend of ALAN ERICSON

This book did not due justice to what is considered to be the most important pivotal event in the South Pacific war.Too many pictures. Not enough story line.Disappointed in the book.

I’ve read a lot about Midway, some from participants who were @ USNA when I was a Mid. While this has the typical cliches and a love story, the underlying facts about the People and events were on target. It read well, light and interesting.
