Update 8/30/2023 - ZERO Stars. I mentioned below I would experiment some more. The Vacuum is NOT WORKING. I have made sure the lid and lip of container are clear/clean. After a few days there is NO VACUUM. I believe the 'vacuum pump' area is what is releasing the vacuum and letting air in. The concept is a nice idea but the functioning is POOR. I guess I will look to see what I can store in it without concern for 'freshness'. Bad purchase. NO I Do Not recommend ...... save your moneyAmazon purchasing and delivery ... usual A+. The item was package well and looks nice. The concept seems good but not really sure it is functioning as described. The first few times I did the vacumming procedure it seemed to be doing what it described it would; when 'releasing' the vacuum I could hear a VERY FAINT release. When the container was getting low on contents the vacuuming didn't seem as strong and the 'release' didn't make much noise, in fact I wasn't really hearing anything. So? is it keeping my coffee beans fresh? To be honest........I am not sure. I will try a few more times but at the moment I am skeptical. May just keep coffee beans in the bag they come in???? Would I buy again, knowing what I know now? Probably not

I like it. It's shield and I not worry about broken because it's not glass.

Easy to use.
The vacuum pump didnt work at first, but after pulling hard to unset the seal the pump started working correctly. The canister has what looks like a stress crack in the bottom, but since it doesn't seem to allow any air to leak into the canister, it isn't causing any problem. This should keep my loose leaf tea fresher a bit longer.

So far crap
Seal only last a couple of hours and when seal is gone the lid just floats on top. Would be better if had at least some way of just keeping the lid on at anytime even without a seal. When I seal a mason jar at least it still screws on.

Vaccuum feature does not work
I bought the product to keep my coffee grounds fresh. This was nothing but a plastic jar with a plastic top that didn’t even screw on and the handle that you were supposed to pull to create a Vaccuum did not. It was useless.. . Don’t buy it. There are other things that are 10 or $15 more that work.!

We use it as a ecosystem in a jar.
Serves the purpose, looks nice, easy to clean.

Pulls a good vacuum, just don't lose the little brush that comes with it.
Purchased to replace a rechargeable one after the battery died. This works well as long as the thin silicone seal is completely free of even small specks of coffee. If not, it'll appear to seal but will lose the vacuum quickly. The little brush that comes with it is the key to keeping it clean.
