Cathe is THE Queen of fitness!
I Love all Cathe Friedrich workouts, and her Rippped with Hiit series is one of her best. Using the tried and tested method of Hiit (High Intensity Interval Training) to increase your fitness, strength and stamina, Cathe trains along with you from start to finish. I know some women are scared of lifting weights, but trust me the weights used in these workouts will not make you bulky, (women really haven’t got enough testosterone for that to happen) it they will firm you up and strip away body fat to streamline your shape. Her workouts are hard, and not for the feint hearted but definitely get results.

Music not sync with the workout routine, it's annoying !!
I've done 2 rounds of Shaun-T 60 days Insanity, I thought I give another workout a go to confuse my muscle memory.After looking through some Hiit workout, Cathe's Ripped with Hiit being recommended highly. I felt a bit let down after the high expectation I read from all the reviews how good this is.The first thing I notice when I following the routine is Cathe not moving base on the music beat. As it is a disco beat throughout, I would guess she would pulse/move according to the speed of the music, but she's not consistent with her speed, mostly faster than the music. As a musician myself, I really can't stand it. To compare, Insanity workout do have music but the pulse not so obvious like the Disco beat, so you can take your time to built up the speed to match Shaun-T and other on the video. As the result, I went back to the top menu to switch the music off, selected only her voice instruction. It's slightly better without the annoying music, but it's kind of boring after awhile without the enhancement of the intense in the workout.While music is off, I can concentrate to the workout. Having done Shaun-T's Insanity, I still find this workout challenging but in my mind I'm a bit afraid that I would end up having masculine muscles like the 2 girls stand next to Cathe. Cathe herself have a very masculine muscle especially her arms. So I'm a bit skeptical on lifting that much of weight. I'm not against it, I just wanted to look tone and not masculine. Also, to do this entire workout, you need a full sets of dumbbells as she adds more weight after each little exercises.After finishing the whole routine of this DVD, I've put Insanity workout DVD back into my player. As I don't feel satisfaction after Cathe's workout or felt that I have not done enough for my workout. This is only my own opinion, somebody might think it is brilliant which I've read so many good reviews but I'm afraid this is not my cup of tea, will return it after I finish writing this.P.S. If you purchase the full sets of Ripped Hiit workout, it doesn't come with the menu/ instruction/ workout routine but you can download online. All other Beach Body workout would included workout routine in the set and no nutrition guide either. Very Disappointing !!

Love this whole Lift it Hiit It series
I love most of Cathe's workouts, and this is no exception. I don't particularly like to work out, but I love the effects it has on how I look and feel, so I do it regularly. These days, I mostly only do these metabolic type workouts that combine compound lower and upper body moves with weights with cardio bursts. It's the most efficient way to work out, and less time spent is a good thing. I have all the Lift it Hiit It workouts, and I do the shorter timesaver premixes instead of the entire work out because, well, it's shorter. It's definitely enough to get me breathless and sweating, and doing them 5 days a week, they keep me in great shape. Thanks Cathe!
