Good replacement.
Had a leaking regulator on my rv. Gave this one a try. Been over a year and no issues at all. It was very easy to install and the selector works great.

Quick fix
Works great? Easy to install. Use yellow thread tape for propane.

Easy Fix.
Simple change, I believe it was the OEM that was 19 years old.. The old unit was leaking when tank valves where open. They are only designed to last 10 years and I got 19..

So far, so good.
This is my second propane regulator replacement. Very disappointed that the original and the first "Samplife" brand replacement both leaked. Read the reviews. Don't buy the regulator with gauges on the hoses. They WILL leak. As far as this regulator goes, the plastic connectors to the propane tanks look/feel cheaply made. They look like they could break easily and if you look at the reviews, this seems to be confirmed. I do have replacement hoses if needed, but I kind of wish I had just bought the Camco brand. Hope this one goes the distance. I will update if I have issues.

Hose leaks
The hoses that come with it are junk. For most fifth wheel applications you have one tank on each side of the RV so you have to take at least one hose off to connect to the transfer hose or pipe. My application required both hoses to come off because of an elbow being needed (see picture of old one). I still wanted new hoses so I bought the regulator with the hoses instead of the bare one. Just a warning the 1/4" fittings that go into the regulator are tight af and have some kind of glues like thread sealer on them. After hooking everything up I sprayed all connections with soapy water. As you can see a leak was immediately present. After a few minutes the bubbles were covering the whole connection. It is not leaking at a connection that I had to remove. It is actually leaking at the part that swivels. I had to reuse one of my old hoses for now. I wish I would have saved the money and just bought the bare regulator.

Would Buy Again
I replaced my factory installed LP regulator on my RV with this and would buy the Flame King brand, again. It's easy to install and works at the correct pressure. The only thing I could recommend is adding a small bit of gas rated Teflon tape for folks who wouldn't have it on hand for proper installation.

Perfect Replacement For My Travel Trailer Regulator
This is the second time I had to replace the regulator on my 2017 travel trailer. The first time was because of the mass recall. I had to figure out the regulator I needed based on total BTUs, figure out the length of pigtails and ensure the handles were the color I needed (dark green for most trailers), find / buy a bracket to mount the regulator to so it would stay on the holder, figure out the right self-tapping screws to get to mount the regulator to the bracket, and then get Teflon tape rated for propane. After all that work, and spending a lot more money than I did on this one, that regulator didn't last. So I found this one. Affordable. 12" pigtails with dark green handles. Bracket included. Auto-switching. Empty tank indicator. Enough BTU throughput to handle my trailer twice over. I changed the regulator out in less than 5 minutes and then tested it. The step that took the longest was cleaning the old Teflon tape off the threads. Easy. This regulator works like a champ. Thanks.
