No heat resistance once you hit 400. They are a pretty color, but totally useless. I would return them if the return window hadn’t closed (they were a gift bought in advance).

I bought these bc I figured for the price they would be great! I can barely take my items from the oven to the stove top without feeling the heat come through. I had Williams Sonoma potholders before and never had this issue. I won't buy again.

First off, yes, these Are very nice. Look to be very well stitched. Has a color matching cloth loop strap to hang from a hook. Product description says "absorbs liquids", which IMO is not a good thing. Using a wet potholder on a very hot cast iron skillet, that liquid will turn to steam Very quickly. Regardless, a very nice matched set of potholders, but price-wise, way out of line for comparable products, especially for 'made in china'.

These are nice and the perracotta color is a shade between a burnt orange and a peach. The linen look is what drew me to these and this particular shade has a soft, already worn in look to it. There are slots in the pot holder for sliding your hand into. They are sewn well and there's even a small tab sewn onto them so you can hang these from something like a cabinet knob if you wanted to.They are a tiny bit pricey, but that's expected to have a Caraway branded item. Their items are simple with a minimalist feel to them, but very well made and these pot holders are no exception.Also, just something I wanted to add about these being organic cotton, that in itself will add to the cost. Organic cotton is more than just a feature for the consumer, but makes huge health differences in the farmers who have to grow cotton. The pesticides that cotton farmers have to use is detrimental to their health and life span, and those who grow organic cotton do not have to be exposed to the same deadly chemicals. So to me, it's worth the extra cost to make a difference in the health and lives of the farmers who grown the cotton.
