Vegetable grater (Jalapeno Pepper Corer)

This little tool works great for pre pairing Jalapeno peppers for stuffing with your favorite ingredients. Before I was using an apple corer. This tool gets the seed and white parts out of the pepper in one smooth action. I would recommend you use food grade rubber/latex gloves when coring jalapeno's.

I dislike how hard it is to get in the Pepper and twist it. You can cut yourself badly if your not careful

Used each of the 2 I bought once. On first use they had proven to be awkward to use to cut the tops of the peppers due to the serrated teeth being round rather than jagged. That’s not a huge deal as it was not what this was purchased for. Then I began coring... this is where it’s failures really shone. You have to twist pretty hard to tear, rather than cut, through the core. After only a few peppers the utensil had to be straightened, as the “blade” part will always twist and if not careful I believe it would get a kink. While this did get the cores out, it would be faster with a paring knife.
