Lambland Grade A Luxury X-Large Reindeer Hide/Skin/Rug in Light Shade Natural Colors

I was very excited about this as I’ve been looking for a caribou/reindeer fur to use as a blanket in cold weather for awhile now. It came in quicker than expected and the overall look is okay. The issue is as soon as I pulled it out it started shedding lots of hair immediately and a quick look at the back revealed lots of holes that seem to have glue over most of them. I compared it with a smaller caribou hide that I have and it’s more coarse and not as thick. So due to the hair falling out, the holes, and the glue I wouldn’t call this a grade A hide as advertised by any means. Will be returning unfortunately. But I gave an extra star for such quick delivery overseas

You can buy these from many different companies, but I wanted one that I did a little research on and that was reputable. Lambland in the UK met those expectations. I’m not a hunter, I’m an avid outdoorsman, and I have wanted one of these for warmth in camping scenarios and as a seating cushion when I’m hiking and foraging through the woods.It took a little bit longer than expected, but that’s completely understandable, with all of the geo-political turmoil and company strikes occurring abroad. I’m in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, so I’m hiking very often, and this felt is my new best friend. The quality is outstanding and the color and thickness is everything I would expect from a reindeer Hyde. I would highly recommend this company and I’m already planning my next purchase. This is quite literally the best thing I’ve ordered off Amazon in the past 10 years. I’m so happy I’m beside myself!
