Good Film, awful UHD Release
There isn't much I can say about the film that hasn't already been said. It appears your sensitivity to the internet hivemind and how much in general you just hate the idea that the ghostbusters were recast as female will dramatically affect your opinion of this film. There are much worse remake films out there and the only reason this gets so much hate is "the feminists are taking over!" mindset.Coming from the perspective of someone who has seen the original films and thought they were OK, but not the ZOMG BEST FILMS EVAAAAA!!! this is an entertaining film, filled with easter eggs and nods back to the original pair of films. It's a fun movie to just sit back and enjoy, if you can go in to it without any preconceptions of what you think it should be.The main reason for my deduction of 2 stars though are not the film itself, but the UHD release: I don't know if this is a trend with Sony UHD Blu Rays but the menus are dog-slow on my 4KBR player for all of them, and all they are are sliding promo images. For Contrast, I have Game of Thrones UHD collection and all of the menus are fitted with movie reel and scenes from the series you are watching - They run flawlessly. So be prepared for an awful experience on the BR menu.Secondly, the UHD version has absolutely no bonus content. You get the FHD Blu Ray edition with the UHD version and all of the additional content is there - so if you want to watch the film in 4K, then look through any bonus material you have to swap discs. You could say this may be due to space on a 4K BR disc, but that wouldn't explain why HBO can cram 3 hours of GoT on to a single disc with animated menus.Thirdly, and probably most jarring, is that they seem to have used the 3D release of the movie as the source for the 4K UHD release, which leads to some really awkward moments where a 21:9 aspect ration film being played in letterbox suddenly has special effects spilling over the black bars on a typical16:9 4K TV. On a 3D TV, these would help emphasise the effect of something coming out of the screen towards you, but here it looks awful and really distracts you from the actual movie.tldr - the film is marmite anyway, but if you're in the camp of liking the film, you'll find the UHD release really screws over hopes you may have had of a completely enjoyable UHD viewing. Luckily it's only around a fiver, and you get a full HD Blu Ray, a Bonus disk and a digital copy too, it's just a shame that they couldn't have given a crap about the quality of the actual UHD version, which is going to be the main event for you if you're buying the 4K edition.

TRAILER?!
Can't vouch for the quality of the film but what are trailers doing on prime?! I got to this via 'customers also watched' ... oh, is this out already I thought ... but no, it is a trailer! I don't know why Sucker Punch shows up in 'Recently Added' so often, but if we aren't going to get any new movies and just trailers that you can get on YouTube for FREE then what is the point of PAYING for Prime Movies? At least with some trailers the recently added might update a bit more than once every other month and might do something other than alternate between a Divergent movie and Sucker Punch!

Great special effects and superb sound in 7.1...........but absolutely dreadful story and acting!
I'm so pleased I didn't watch this in the movies when it came out, because it's absolutely sh1t!It's probably pointless giving it to a charity shop 'cos nobody would buy it they had any sense; clearly, I don't have any!!

Not as bad as expected.
Not as bad as I was thinking. Why they put the extended on the 4k disk I havee no idea. Some of the inprov needed cut. Would have prefered exteneded on the normal bluray.Image was impressive.
