I have pot plants in my house that seem to suffer during winter months so I ordered this product to see if it would help.The bulb is very substantial in size so could be used with several plants. It fits into a standard E27 socket meaning that it couldn’t be easier to install and use. I used a basic desk lamp which I could angle over my plants. I positioned it on a table containing 6 household plants.There are 12 LEDs in total – three blue and nine red. Each bulb is 3W giving a total of 36w. The blue bulbs aid growth of tall leafy plants while the red lights helps with budding, flowering and fruiting. The LED light give plants only the light that they can use for the most effective growth.The casing is constructed from pure polished aluminium to maximise heat distribution and a ribbed design on the sides which keeps the bulb cool, even after 18 hours of continuous use.The lamp can be used at all stages of growth from seedling to full bloom. After using for two weeks my plants are taller and brighter than before. An added benefit of the lamp is that you do not need to turn the plants as they get all round concentrated light from the lamp.I was offered this product at a discounted price in return for my honest review. Overall I think that this is a great piece of home hydroponic kit at a good price.

Worth getting the 36w for extra brightness rather than a 12w, ladies love bright lights!

I am a notorious plant killer, so I was looking forward to testing this grow lamp.The lamp has 12 LED, giving off a total of 36 W. There are nine red ones and three blue LEDS.The combination of the two ty[es of LEDS creates a perfect grow environment for plants. The red is helpful during the flowering and budding stage and the blue is for growth.There are 12 LEDs in total – three blue and nine red. Fits in to an E27 lamp, I didn't own one already but found one for less than a tenner here on Amazon. I received this in return for a review, and i'm reviewing this based on being new to growing and with little prior knowledge of these things. The bulb itself is quite large, around 12cm diameter, of course makes sense for a large surface area to reach the plants. I found it covers 3 small potted plants well, and is very easy to use, just screw in and turn on, and the plant I was growing had no other light source for the purpose of testing this (over a period of 3 weeks). Overall i'd recommend it, if you're looking for a light like this, it works.
