This shovel is wonderful. It is light weight and durable and handles everything I have needed it for. The shovel part is not too big so you can't load it up and strain something. The handle is very sturdy and long enough so you don't have to lean over to do what you need to shovel. This is a great tool to add to your collection and it will be the first tool that you will grab when going out to work in the yard.

It is well named as a "Flower bed" shovel as it can get in those tight spaces in my raised beds. I have a lot of clay and it cuts right through just fine.I don't think I could get a large one in my raised beds as it has limited space before the fence - and this one works for that.I like the smaller size and ease of using it for an aging gardener and it does the job quite well. My only comment is that the shovel blade is relatively straight (as in less curved than the one I was replacing with it). That only comes into play when I am "mixing" dirt above ground before re-filling the hole. Otherwise it would have 5 stars for me. In all, it was a good purchase, does the job and saves my back from bending over so much with a shorter handled shovel. Good purchase.

The angle of the shovel blade is all wrong. It's almost completely flat. Ie on the same plane as the handle. I purchased another, different shovel almost immediately.

disappointed, bought this a year ago. I only use it for flower beds and the shovel blade split across the top. I loved having the smaller shovel for around my perennials but now it's useless

I have two of them. I recently attempted to purchase another since one of my old ones, different brand, is about to fail. I have just been informed this product has been discontinued and is no longer available. But for the price of $50 I have been extremely pleased with it. It holds up well all season long, rain or shine. Hopefully I will get my credit soon. I have since found a comparable Bully floral shovel $34.95. However I have no complaints. I was perfectly happy with this product.

This a perfect shovel for irrigating and for gardening, especially when smaller and lighter shovel loads are preferred. The handle is sturdy and easy to use (no splinters) and the tool is light weight. All pluses. I was delighted to find it and will probably order another.

Order this shovel for my bestest friend ever and my wonderful daughter-in-law. Great size for women. I have on that I have had for a longtime, no fiberglass handle but that's ok. My friend said this handle does give off some slivers, you might want to look at that.

My husband prefers the small head shovels, and they're not always easy to find. This is just what he wanted, although it was twice the price of the one I found later at the local farmer's cooperative. I bought both. Hard for hubby to run out now. ;-)
