One of the best cameras I have used
Imo has been one of the best and easiest camera systems I have installed and set up. And very easy to add to the iPhone app and view playback recordings or live streaming. This model (Imo 5MP 360) is one of the best quality images I have seen and is great for identifying number plates and people. Would highly recommend this set of cameras, Imou has so many options and new and innovative products which all work well together.

Amazing camera
Couldn't be better unless it had ai moth detection because it's that quick it follows them around the garden at night time

Works well, looks nice.
Does the job I bough it for, good rotation covers the whole garden. App works well with my other Imou cams too.

Poor.
I gave this camera an excellent review when I first had it. That was before I started getting hounded to buy their subscription service, and realising that even though it records locally to an SD card - you need a subscription to download it.Nothing buy a huge con.Previous review:Always the way - act after the fact, bought these after being burgled and don't don't regret it at all.I've pretty much watched reviews on most of ring alternatives available on Amazon, and this for me is by far the best choice. Two particular features that stand out are the geofencing, and the motion detected lamp/smart plug activation. Both are these features are hard to find on most cameras, including Ezviz - unless you start bringing in other apps and links. When I leave my house, my cameras are armed for human detection. When I return, the camera on my drive is disabled for ten minutes to stop notifications, the camera in my garden is disabled until 8pm.If I'm not home, my house lights will come on one by one - if anyone is detected on my drive, or on the garden. I will soon have this extended to the entire front area of my house with Imou's doorcam. Anyone walks near my house - bedroom light set to on for ten mins.Unless you have a 911 on the drive, and you are being targeted - I think this system will deter most scumbags looking for an empty house.Imou also do door sensors and motion sensors so I will be adding these to my security system as well.As for the rest - picture quality is amazing, forget motion detection, it's pointless, but the AI human detection is incredible - I had one false alarm at max sensitivity when it thought a cat was a person, but set it 4/5 sensitivity and I've had it for a month with zero false alarms. My back door is 7m from camera, and it picks me up no problems - even on those darker nights. You can also record footage to a DVR that's on your local WiFi/ethernet - using either a phone and any DVR app, or a dedicated DVR unit. The lights are reasonably bright, but nothing flood like. They are a nice warm yellow though, and are perfectly adequate for seeing in colour via the cameras at night.Be aware though, if you want to use their smart plugs for light automation - they only do EU plugs, available on eBay or Allieexpress. (That's Brexit for you). The bulbs are available for UK sockets though, both screw in and bayonet types. I paid £11 for 4 - again, a real bargain. They're decent quality as well.I'm genuinely impressed with these units, they blow Ring out of the window both in specs and price. Who would buy a camera, that charges you - to record.

Good camera. Good integration with Alexa. Poor service
I wanted to install a camera at the rear of my house as part of my Smart Home. I had tried two other cameras: one wouldn't work with Alexa, despite being advertised as a compatible camera. The other worked for a few days, then gradually stopped working with Alexa. It stopped working with the app on all of my PC's and laptops, then the Echo Show 5. My FB Portal stopped working with it as well. The pity was that it was a great camera in its own right, but that wasn't its raison d'etre, so it was replaced by the Imou 2K PTZ.1) INSTALLATION.Installation was fairly simple, although I had to feed the power cable through a double-brick wall, which took a bit of time! The leads are a bit chunky, too.2) PHONE APP.Very easy to download and use. It's a good app that can handle a few Imou cameras. It's great to use, and doesn't have problems when using mobile data.2) PC APP.Excellent. Very easy to navigate and well thought-out by Imou. Up to 16 cameras can be added to this app, so it should be enough for even the most fastidious security system. Your video alerts can be viewed through the app, and copying/deleting is easy.3) PICTURE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE2K picture quality is about as much as I need. 1080 doesn't cut the mustard for me, and 5MP is probably too much. The good thing is that it is a very stable picture. You can digitally zoom it, but the quality suffers accordingly. One slight negative is that it sounds like a Corporation Bus when it's tracking. Imou need to look at this. Either that, or supply a can of WD-40 with it, as it's a noisy camera. It doesn't have much latency when manually tracking through the PC app, but obviously the phone app suffers quite a bit from it. For perspective, the Imou apps work better than the two previous cameras, although at >double the price of one, and 1/3 more than the other.ALEXA INTEGRATION.The nub of it for me. any camera HAS to work with Alexa. The advertising for most cameras will state that "it works with Alexa" (or Google). That may have some basis in fact, but the $64,000 question is WHICH Alexa devices are compatible! I know from bitter experience that some cameras work with (eg) Echo Show 5, but DON'T work with Portal or PC. It seems to be a very tongue-in cheek claim by the manufacturers and it certainly isn't true for some devices. The Imou 2K PTZ DOES work with the Alexa PC app, but by voice command only (no big deal, as I always use voice commands). It DOES work with Echo Show 8 (but I can't vouch for Echo Show 5). It DOES work with Portal. I'm perfectly happy with this, because not only does it work. it works very well.PERFORMANCE.You absolutely need to give this camera the best signal possible. It will drop-out if you don't. To get this in perspective, I had to fit a signal booster at a strategic place in the house, as the previous cameras had suffered drop-out because of signal problems. Even with a booster, the signal strength is rated at either "Fair" or "Poor" by the phone app. Even with a "Poor" signal, the camera works well. You can set this camera to detect Human, Vehicle or motion detection, with or without Smart Tracking. They all work, but the Smart Tracking shows a bit of latency. It's not a problem, as the Garden camera is set to a tight area of detection (programmable), so it can usually follow a human within its range.SERVICE.Initially, I was impressed by the service. However, when one of the PTZ outdoor cameras started disconnecting itself from my WiFi, they were a lot less helpful. They told me to try a few things that I had already tried and had failed.,IMOU seemed to lose interest when I told them that the camera was definitely faulty, and that my own actions proved that it was faulty beyond a shadow of a doubt. When I complained, they simply gave me ticket numbers and said a rep would be in touch. This didn't happen, so I had to raise a complaint through Amazon, who sorted it.SECOND CAMERAI was so impressed (initially) that I installed a second PTZ camera. What was galling was that I bought it the day BEFORE the Prime deals, so I could have saved myself £15 if only I had known. Never mind, it's only money (Grr!). This camera is installed in the Garage. This is intriguing; I set the camera on low sensitivity to detect motion and Humans. Obviously, I had to turn the Vehicle detection off, as there's a car in the garage, which it let me know about frequently! What was intriguing about it was that I was receiving alerts at Stupid-o'-Clock in the morning. At first I thought it was mice, but it was VERY small flying insects (not even moth sized) that was triggering the alarm. Naturally, as it wasn't mice, I have now turned this detection off, too!SUMMARY.Not the cheapest on the market, but it ticks all of the other boxes with the notable exception of service. Great performance; good integration with Smart home, and good apps that are easy to use. I like them a lot.ADDENDUMI am so impressed with the performance of these cameras so much that I have added two baby Imou cameras. I added a third and fourth camera: not the same type, but small indoor units. Quite inexpensive, and have less features, but they work very well and integrate as well as my other two cameras. I have added two more photo's. Also, I removed the faulty PTZ and returned it to Amazon. I replaced it with another small indoor unit. I dropped my initial 5-star ranking to 3-star because of the lack of service issue.

Imou 5MP Security Camera
This camera was to replace a different brand which consistently failed. The alerts are great and the video quality is very good. At the moment it is pouring with rain and this hasn't affected it at all. I have an Imou inside camera, so the connection was simple and easy to do. I have also found the app, both on Android devices and my desktop PC, to be very good. Whilst on my PC, the app runs in the background and I can switch to it with ease. At the moment I can fully recommend this camera
