BK19 Becker Nessmuk Fixed Blade Knife 4.312" Drop Point 1095 Cro-Van Bronze Blade Ultramid Handle Tan

I've owned a lot of knives in my day and this is quite possibly the best knife I've ever owned it's easy to sharpen and it holds an edge very well I was starting a fire the other day and I took a piece mesquite firewood log and I was shaving shavings off of it for kenneling to start a fire with so I was being pretty hard on it. And later that night I was making a sandwich and I used the knife to slice my tomatoes and it sliced through them like butter even after being hard on it shaving the piece of firewood I was impressed any other knife I've carried the edge would not have held up!

I like the knife. I like the sheath. I like that it can be flipped from right handed to left handed carry. I got one little gripe. The screws that hold everything together take a 9/64" hex key. Now I want to carry one on my keychain, but no one makes a dogging key (loop in the end) in 9/64". Perhaps Becker Knife/Kabar should make one and include it with the knife.

This is another great Ka-Bar knife. Good to take out into the field to do several camp tasks.

1095 steel first choice for touch the world knife. Good survival type knife. Sheath is good. Prefer leather for knives.

I have this and it's better than the bk 16. It's not slightly over built like the 16, is slicier, has a tactical geometry, a better sheath than the 16, and it my go to knife for a companion knife as it's very utilitarian. I only gave it 4 stars because of the ugly grivory handles, and the sheath shape does kinda suck even though it's better than the sheath if the 16. If you are looking to upgrade the handles and sheath this would be 5 star rocking
