I didn’t think it would and I took a shower with it and it was great. I did not put in the red water restrictor piece, but it was not overpowering the water falling on my hair and body. It was just right. I really don’t write a lot of reviews unless I’m irritated with something but I really like this. With the showerhead, you get a good quality product at a decent price. Very pleased that it looks decent and it’s made out of 304 stainless steel.
