It seems like Ford should be able to make a tailgate that keeps the dust out. I spent $30 on another product that was supposed to work but didn't survive at the bottom of the tailgate after a few closings. I installed this product a few months back and the opening and closing of the gate haven't destroyed it. It compresses nicely to seal the uneven shape of the bottom of the tailgate and I will install it on the vertical sides when the first seal fails. I was careful to clean the metal with alcohol and the seal adhesive has held without a problem.

This trim is just what I needed to keep lizards out of my screened in porch.

Product is quality and after doing some reading I figured this would be help with a secondary layer for sealing my doors from road noise. Ended up being only useable for a small portion at the front where the hinges mount. Wasted an entire roll as it barely made contact anywhere else. Again this is for anyone looking to seal a Tacoma 02 door. Would not recommend.

Used this as vertical gap seal for slide out on rv.4’ of 8’ length fell off first trip out. The adhesive on seal appeared to have stuck well enough to the exterior wall surface but not to the rubber seal strip. A pain to have to do the job twice.

Was previously using the $40 Taco Marine D-seals. You get seven feet for that money. For all our deck hatches this worked great. And you get a lot more for just a little more money. Sticks to gelcoat very well, goes on easily, turns 90 degree hatch corners without crumpling up. Just perfect for boat deck hatches.

Could have more adhesive and could have been taller.

I recently made some swing out garage doors and I need to seal for air around them. I left space between the centers so I did not have to open both and this did an excellent job of sealing the gap.

I used this to replace the forward hatch seal on my Wellcraft boat. Most of the initial adhesion was very good, but it didn't stick in a couple of places. I closed the hatch and when I came back in a few days, it had all adhered well.
